This outlets fry is not as tasty or well done as other outlets. So far Parkway Parade does it best in my opinion. Ordered the MLXG, small spicy - order came up really dry & tasteless. Barely add the noodles.

The food is consistent and great at every outlet, what makes this outlets extra special is the service staff Kai Di! He made checking out and ordering extremely bright and lit. He makes my experience here very “ welcomed”

Visiter here for dinner on Sat night Convenient place, well maintained shop The ingredient wise just got enough options. I ordered tomato soup, I could taste pork broth but rarely can taste tomato. I dont mind with pork smell but it could be better as tomato soup.

The staff here is very nice and friendly, very accommodative as well! Good food, highly recommended

Satisfying hot soup (original soup, which is the classic Mala soup). Mainly writing a review because the cashier provided exceptionally good service to all customers. He was cheerful to everyone and was helpful especially to non-Chinese speaking customers he was patient and taught them about the menu. Second time eating Zhang Liang and I will definitely be back! Seems like this place has quite a bad rep for service- fair the uncle seems a little eccentric but nothing so far as to be unfriendly or nasty. Maybe more like brash and direct which I can look past. Food wise- I tried the double fish soup for 7.50. Soup was sweet and tasty and fish seems fresh as well. My only gripe was that the portion seems quite little for the price. I added bitter gourd for $1. Because it’s still rather tasty and fresh- I might come back here again when I’m craving for some fish soup!

The fish soup is very healthy and umami :) Owners are very friendly and welcoming too. It's always a nice experience whenever I'm back for it.

Dinner Ordered 2 mushroom fish soup 1 with milk another without milk $14 + 1 plate 4pcs chicken wings prawn paste $4 and 2 barley drinks $3.60 all for $21.60. Soup & noodle taste ok and a few thin pieces of fishs + mushrooms and cabbages. Average to me overall. Chicken wings nice hot and crispy. Barley drinks not too sweet ok too.

Pricey bowl of fish soup. Taste was good. Fish portion wasn’t worth the price tag. Owners were friendly. Don’t recommend their chicken wings, very average not worth the price.

This is one of the few fish soup stalls in Singapore that doesn't make me feel thirsty after drinking the soup. The broth was light and the fish slices were generally quite generous, given the premium location. The fish slices were definitely fresh and didn't have the plastic or rubbery texture. Their prawn-paste chicken is good too! The other reviews do mention the boss being rude due to hard-selling and his aggressive behavior. I guess that most are taken aback by his loud voice, as he is quite vocal. He will immediately ask for your orders after sitting down, and tries to promote some dishes in the menu rather loudly. All I can say is, do come prepared for what to order, as the seating is quite scarce during lunchtime, hence his fast paced attitude. It's alright to say no to the food items that he is promoting, don't be afraid! There's always a long queue during office lunch hours, so do come early too!
