He is so kind, funny, sweet and truly so helpful. He gave us discounts and helped us with anything we needed. He is always smiling, such an amazing atmosphere and person. Will be coming back here all the time

After buying something from this shop, I quickly checked its price online and was shocked to see it was being sold for three times less elsewhere. I went back immediately, hoping to discuss the price. Instead, the store own Allen shouted at me, insulted me and told me I should not challenge him since he’d been in business for decades. When I mentioned the price difference of over $100, he simply said “too bad” and refused any solution. I felt humiliated, intimidated, and completely unheard. I would not recommend anybody who wants a fair deal or a fair treatment from this guy.

I recently made a purchase here and found out shortly after that the same item was available online for about a third of the price I paid in the store. I returned right away, hoping they would at least acknowledge or explain the huge price difference. Instead, Allen the owner became defensive, raising his voice and mocking me. He refused to discuss anything, repeating that there was no refund once the transaction was done. It felt like a very unfair way to treat a paying customer. Please do not shop in this place if you dont want to be cheated and scammed.

Be aware!😰 When you enter you will be greeted by the most joyous and precise guy! I was looking for a film camera battery, he knew exactly which model before i even opened the pouch. I think thats enough said, look at how skilled and happy he looks! God bless you, and thank you for sharing your genuine character. Long live Singapore.

+1 to other reviews — items here seem to be priced on the higher side, and I noticed there weren’t any visible price tags, which made it hard to gauge pricing upfront. I recommend reading the lower-star reviews for a fuller picture rather than relying only on the 4.5-star average. Giving 2 stars mainly because I didn’t do my research beforehand. I needed film urgently and trusted the rating — that’s on me. I paid $25 for one roll of Kodak Color Plus 200. Later, I found it online for nearly half the price. I initially assumed it was due to physical store overhead, but I came across another physical shop later where the same film was $16.90. When I entered, the uncle was speaking with two young girls looking at film cameras. After they decided not to buy, he said, “Then why you ask me take out the box from the glass cabinet, you can see without taking out what.” That comment felt a little curt and gave me pause — in hindsight, maybe I should’ve trusted my instincts. When I asked how much the Kodak film was, the uncle said, “$25.” I asked, “For one?” and he replied, “Of course for one only,” quite bluntly. To be fair, he was friendlier after I made the purchase. I’ve seen several reviews highlighting great service here, and that may be the case for many. But based on what I experienced and overheard, the level of service might depend on whether a purchase is made.

Uncle Alan is honest and a good salesman. We came in to check the price of a screen protector for iphone 15 max. He was upfront with how much each of the screens are and what the quality is. There were no hidden charges. We were students and had a bad experience at the shope next to dunkin who charged us exorbitant prices without disclosing to us first. When we came into far east plaza, his shop was located to the left of the entrance. He sells iphone gadgets, cameras, thumbdrives all things electronic. Highly recommend Uncle Alan shop

I’ll recommend the shop owner as he is very knowledgeable and has a comprehensive collection of items. He is very patient with explanations, explaining clearly. I was amazed he had everything! My camera is rather old and he had everything that I needed. The total was kind of pricey even with discounts but I got what I needed. He also gave a few freebies. As a note of precaution, do your research on the prices before coming to the shop and ask the prices of everything. Uncle helped to set up everything so all packaging was opened for me. (In picture, look at the counter near my left elbow) I don’t think I can get stuff refunded if I changed my mind. Anyway, I needed everything so it was ok. My only regret was impulse buying an sd card recommended by uncle as I already had one of less memory 8GB and older model. 32GB sd card has bought at $25 with discount, I believe.

I give 2 stars partly due to my lack of knowledge. The price at NTUC is $8.50 per 9V battery, but I paid $15 per piece here, I bought 5 of it, I’m just a student. Uncle 阿彌陀佛, 身體健康。

Be careful, the guy is nice but overcharging and don’t offer any invoice! You will find the products cheaper at any other place.
