I wanted miso based and spicy one. Closest match is the spicy miso cha siew butter corn. Didn’t know it don’t come with onsen egg. It tasted too jialak. Still prefer Ajisen Ramen.

This is our favorite halal ramen spot in Singapore. I’d recommend the Hokkai Ramen and Donburi, both have great portions and taste amazing, and my kids love them. The service is great, and it’s gotten even better lately with coloring pencils and small toy gifts for the kids. Highly recommend!

The portion of the ramen is generous for the price. We ordered the family set. The broth of clear shoyu is definitely boiled long enough to taste that silken soup soaking the ramen and the tender chashu slices. Hard boiled egg has that onsen yolk. Vinegar is the clear version which does not irritate the throat, so that helps when you dip the ramen into it. The family set comes with gyoza and chicken karaage of which both are done well. The gyoza skin is not hard nor chewy; the battered chicken pieces have lots of crunch. An overall pleasant dining experience.

The ramen feels so authentic! I ordered their signature one, zero regrets. Fantastic, rich and umami broth. Generous portion. Tasty charsiu chicken slice. Just perfect. I’ll visit soon once I’m around Singapore 🫶🏼

The server was very nice and has good service from him :) and the ramen is so so good the broth is thick and the toppings has a good amount. The price is justified for halal ramen. Got recommended to this place by a friend since she understood I don't like broth made from pork 😅.

One of the worst restaurants i tried.. We ordered multiple dishes. The beef in the beef ramen were fatty thin slices, so unattractive that we regreted even trying. The chicken ramen was almost ok, the chicken slices came cold and i had to mix them well in the soup to get them warm. We also ordered dumplings which were too soft, and french fries which were too hard. But worse of all - whatever you do - don't order the salmon sashimi! It is one of the more pricy dishes, however, at first we got stiff white chunks of salmon. When we called the waiter, she didn't even say anything, as if she knew it is not edible and was just waiting to see if we complained, she took it and immediately replaced it with other salmon dish that still is far from possibly being called sashimi, looks like just out of some vaccum pack, we tried but still not edible. Even the staff saw this was so bad, that without me asking they removed the sashimi from the bill. However, we could hardly eat anything from what we ordered and went to get some pizza.

Great spot for a comforting bowl of ramen in Orchard! 🍜 I tried the Ichikokudo Ramen Original, and the soy sauce chicken broth was rich but not too salty—just the right balance of flavor. The chicken chashu was tender, the marinated egg perfectly runny, and the toppings like bamboo shoots and wood ear mushrooms added great texture. Also ordered the grilled chicken gyoza, which had a crispy golden crust and juicy filling—super satisfying! Loved that they offer no service charge, making it a great value for quality Japanese food. The service was quick, and the staff were welcoming and helpful, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

I dine here for lunch almost every month and I love how friendly the cost is here. You will leave with your hearts full. Staff are great and polite. I don’t eat chicken katsu and had it replaced with an extra egg. That was very kind of the staff. Appreciate it and food is amazing as always

Interesting but alright. A little expensive for one scoop. It kinda feels a bit gimmicky now - after all theres only so much you can do to a gelato without it being your fault if you decide to add strange ingredients in 😂 but being able to blend baked goods is quite interesting. Most interesting thing we added was muah chee which made it interestingly gummy but we didnt dare to add the more crazy items. Was fun though.
