Mini Wok Zhi Char serves authentic Chinese stir-fry dishes at Food Republic in Shaw House, bringing traditional zi char flavours to Orchard Road's food court scene. This casual eatery specialises in wok-fried dishes that deliver the characteristic wok hei smokiness and intense flavours associated with quality zi char cooking.
The menu features classic zi char favourites including sweet and sour pork, cereal prawns, black pepper beef, sambal kangkong, salted egg squid, and various noodle and rice dishes. Portions are generous and suited for sharing, making it popular among office workers and families dining together. The skilled cooks prepare each dish fresh to order using high-heat wok techniques that seal in flavours and create the caramelised edges diners expect from good zi char.
Located within Food Republic at Shaw House basement, 350 Orchard Road, Mini Wok Zhi Char provides accessible Chinese comfort food near Orchard MRT station.
I just bought a packet of Ginger Slice Fish rice from Mini-Work at One raffles place. The fish slices taste fishy and not too fresh! Wonder if the quality of the fish slices have been affected by the so-called "slow business" during the virus outbreak.

Dun expect too much from this stall, service was terrible, waited for almost 25 minutes for a simple egg fried rice. Bunch of clowns operating this whole stall. Most of the dishes are at $7 and above! Must avoid this stall.

ate at their outlet at 51 Bras Basah Road FoodRepublic on 23/09.
ordered their combo set (tempura + chicken cutlet), food turned out to be cold, no flavour at all, and the chicken was NOT COOKED properly (at a lot of pink spots). went back to ask for a new plate, but the dish was still cold af.

Stall no. 8; one of my top picks in the food court. They got a salted egg chicken rice that in my opinion bests the famous one at Sim Lim Square! The chef is hard-working and determined; while the auntie is humble, nice, very genuine. Recommended!

Amazing tasting food, very fast service, it's great to watch the chef create your dish Infront of you while you wait, the aromas made my mouth water. Plenty of seating available nearby. I will be eating here again, I can't wait to try more off the menu.
Located in the basement level.
