I tried it out on a whim because I could choose my own vegetables. I also got to choose my side dishes... And what level of spiciness do you want? I also had the option of soup or fried... All the side dishes were fried, like stir-fried. And I chose fish, which was fried in flour.

Quite tasty but rather expensive. Does not really have the numbing experience. The fried tau kwa was kept in water at the selection counter, yet when it was served to me it tasted sourish, meaning the tau kwa was no longer fresh. There are cheaper options elsewhere for good mala hotpot.

I dunno why ppl say this is the best mala in town. Ordered their medium spice and its neither ma nor la not even xiang. I've had way better ones than this. If you are a hardcore mala fan, I think you can give this a miss. Their ingredient variety is also quite meh... Don't have pork belly meat, don't have Taiwan sausage, those are like my must haves for mala.

Service is bad, the guy play with his phone for a while before processing my order. Food is average, not good anymore

This is hands down my favorite dry hot pot place. Fresh ingredients and very fragrant (latter is missing at most other places). Note you can customize your spice level from mild to medium to hot, just let the cashier know.

what comes out of the kitchen doesnt add up to what went in, in terms of portions 😳 I feel some of the veggies went back to the counter 😬 …

Probably the worst mala hotpot in my life ever. Ordered portion around $20 but I only eat 2 spoons then I leave.. not sure if they accidentally pour whole pack of salt into it. No spicy taste no mala taste at all. My rating 0/5.. so disappointed.

Loved this stall where we got to choose the veggies, meat, sea food, noodles & the levels of spiciness. The soup was great too🍀Mama Lala🍀👍🍀
