After four straight days grinding on this biz trip—8 PM to 1 or 2 AM every night, with drinks flowing each time—I was straight-up wiped. Ditched my buddy and holed up in the hotel for some bak kut teh. Man, it hit just like I remembered: rich, peppery broth, tender ribs, absolute perfection! Grab order:S$40.65 pricey 😆 So obsessed, I snagged another bowl at Jewel Changi Airport. If you’re in town, hunt this down—total game-changer for the soul!

Good spot for bingsu deserts and assortment of Korean snacks. Service was pretty quick, and they managed to sort out seats when the outlet was pretty busy on a weekday night. Portion is great to share as a group. Will come again!

China brands are taking over and others are losing out. This is the large portion. $3 more. It's all ice all the way to the bottom. Compared to other Chinese bingsu brands that fills the bottom with surprises, creating value and leaves the customer wanting more. This just leaves a cold, bitter taste in customers mouth. Avoid

This was my very first trip to Singapore, visiting for work and taking the chance to explore this vibrant hub of business and tourism. And of course, food is an essential part of the experience! My colleague who had been here before, insisted that I must try the legendary Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, a Michelin-recommended restaurant that always has long queues. To be honest, I was skeptical at first—I’ve never been particularly interested in pork rib soup. But with his strong recommendation, I joined the line one weekday evening and waited about 30 minutes. And wow—after my very first sip of the broth, I realized how wrong I had been! The peppery, fragrant soup base paired with the tender pork ribs completely won me over. It was so flavorful and comforting that I finally understood why Song Fa has earned repeated Michelin recognition. Honestly, I barely remember the side dishes we ordered—because the soup itself stole the entire show! We spent around SGD 20–25 per person, including a few extras, which I found very reasonable given the quality. For me, just that bowl of bak kut teh alone was worth the wait. I left absolutely satisfied, and I’d happily line up again next time I’m in Singapore!

Song Fa never disappoints. Always have occasional cravings. The soup is healing. Usually I just get the Prime Ribs (Small) and keep drinking the soup till I’m full! For sides: - Large Intestines are really good - You Tiao and soak it in the soup - Braised Pork Belly
