The atmosphere at the restaurant is quiet and comfortable, with a strong Japanese vibe throughout. Our server, Josie, was excellent—super friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious; every dish we ordered tasted amazing. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!🍵

The pork was quite tender, proportions are quite small, but that represent the price. Everything taste quite good, but was on the sweet side. Would like to suggest that the sauce is not applied onto the handles of the yakitori stick handles because the hand got pretty dirty when eating the yakitori .

My friends and I switched to this restaurant quite last minute on a Friday evening. Expected that we have to queue for table for 4pax. The staff are friendly. I had chirashi, which is nice and fresh, and it comes with a bowl of miso soup. Even tho the bowl looks small, but it’s really filling. I also ordered a highball to go together since it’s weekend tomorrow. Not as gassy as I expected. Don’t think they have a dining limit per table, but when they still have customers in the queue, the staff politely informed us so.

Nice food, nice place. Not too rowdy, can enjoy a meal in peace. I’ve ordered 2 mentaiko ebi, did not take a photo. Staff are friendly and Ann is attentive to my needs. Giving me more wasabi and even provided wet tissue when she saw that my fingers were dirty from peeling the ebi. Will recommend and come back.

Had a great dinner here! Staff Ann was very pleasant and she went through the menu with us recommending us the best seller! The seafood was amazingly fresh with high standard. One of the best I’ve had so far. Would definitely be back here again! Thank you Ann for making my experience here a great one!

Third visit! Each main comes with a complimentary miso soup and yuzu ice slushie at the end (which i love). Their large kaisen don was huge indeed! ~240g of toppings. Mount fuji is ironically smaller, but has snow crab which I enjoyed. Quality dons at reasonable prices, will be back! The staff were all really warm and friendly, especially the middle-aged lady :)

Wow wow wow! I didn’t expect it to be this good! We didn’t have high expectations at this price point but the quality of the food is much higher than the price we paid. Please give them a visit and support their business! If I’m in Orchard area I will definitely come here to eat all the time! I am so so happy to find such good food as this price. Service was awesome. Waiters were attentive and polite. Pleas support them!! F&B is so tough in SG and if they won’t survive I will be so so sad.

⭐️ 4.8 stars on Google and yes, it lives up to the hype! I came across Tora San on TikTok and decided to check it out after seeing glowing reviews. Stepped in expecting something decent... but left completely blown away. I ordered the Unagi Kaisen San smoky, tender grilled eel with fresh sashimi over perfectly seasoned rice. Every bite? Chef’s kiss. Flavorful, balanced, and surprisingly affordable for the quality. Just as I was finishing, the waiter surprised me with a complimentary Yuzu Slushie icy, tangy, and the perfect finish to a rich meal. It reminded me of something Fann Wong once said in an interview how much she loved unagi. Guess great taste knows no bounds! 🐟💫 If you’re in Orchard and looking for something soul-satisfying, peaceful, and delicious, skip the crowds and give Tora San a shot. Ordered the Tora-san signature chirashi don, Ikura chawanmushi and the Fizz Fuji apple drink. The fish and prawn is fresh and thick so it is quite satisfying, the unagi is very umami and even the rice is very tasty. The chawanmushi is probably kept in a warmer so it's not as hot as I would have liked but it still taste quite good, the ingredients consist of salmon fish roe,mushrooms and japanese fishcake. The fizz Fuji apple is very refreshing and sweet. It also comes with a few slices of apple which is sweet and crisps. At the end of the meal, there is a complimentary desert which is probably yuzu slushy. Quite refreshing and sweet. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
