Amazing food and great service by the team at Tora-San! The bowl may look small but the food was of great portion and was filling, considering the price for it. Fish cuts were of good size and fresh, unlike others where cubes of fish are small, so every bite was enjoyable because you can taste the sashimi.
Love the space where it was comfortable and not overwhelming to chat too.
We were welcomed and well hosted, staff were attentive and nice, had a good birthday celebration where they were very thoughtful to include a birthday bgm, so we definitely left happier than we entered. Well earned reviews for sure! Will be back again someday! ✨

Third visit! Each main comes with a complimentary miso soup and yuzu ice slushie at the end (which i love).
Their large kaisen don was huge indeed! ~240g of toppings. Mount fuji is ironically smaller, but has snow crab which I enjoyed. Quality dons at reasonable prices, will be back!
The staff were all really warm and friendly, especially the middle-aged lady :)

I came across Tora San on TikTok and decided to check it out after seeing glowing reviews. Stepped in expecting something decent... but left completely blown away.
I ordered the Unagi Kaisen San smoky, tender grilled eel with fresh sashimi over perfectly seasoned rice. Every bite? Chef’s kiss. Flavorful, balanced, and surprisingly affordable for the quality.
Just as I was finishing, the waiter surprised me with a complimentary Yuzu Slushie icy, tangy, and the perfect finish to a rich meal.
It reminded me of something Fann Wong once said in an interview how much she loved unagi. Guess great taste knows no bounds! 🐟💫
If you’re in Orchard and looking for something soul-satisfying, peaceful, and delicious, skip the crowds and give Tora San a shot.

Ordered the Tora-san signature chirashi don, Ikura chawanmushi and the Fizz Fuji apple drink.
The fish and prawn is fresh and thick so it is quite satisfying, the unagi is very umami and even the rice is very tasty.
The chawanmushi is probably kept in a warmer so it's not as hot as I would have liked but it still taste quite good, the ingredients consist of salmon fish roe,mushrooms and japanese fishcake.
The fizz Fuji apple is very refreshing and sweet. It also comes with a few slices of apple which is sweet and crisps.
At the end of the meal, there is a complimentary desert which is probably yuzu slushy. Quite refreshing and sweet.
Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Wow wow wow! I didn’t expect it to be this good! We didn’t have high expectations at this price point but the quality of the food is much higher than the price we paid. Please give them a visit and support their business! If I’m in Orchard area I will definitely come here to eat all the time! I am so so happy to find such good food as this price. Service was awesome. Waiters were attentive and polite. Pleas support them!! F&B is so tough in SG and if they won’t survive I will be so so sad.
