Beef is nice but pricy. Soup base is blend and vegetables are pretty ordinary. No appetizer or dessert included in the set. The environment, decor and service just doesn't feel like an upscale dining place that the price suggests. Overall a disappointment. For the food alone I might rate it 3.5 stars but considering the price this place really do not deserve to stay in business. I've tried all Les Amis group restaurants in this building, this one is by far the worst, by a wide margin.

Really really really good beef. You get what you pay for I guess. Don't expect to pay less than $150 per pax if you want to leave the place feeling relatively full. Service was great, food came out quickly. Great ambience. Only point of improvement would be that the staff took the time to remove the scum out of the soup. All in all... delicious.

Had a pleasant experience. Love the simple menu where you just choose the cut of meat and the rest comes with the set. Staff was attentive since we were the only customers, and patient in explaining how to do it correctly, and which sauces to use. That said, it is very pricey and I would come back again, but maybe for special occasions only.

Service in this restaurant is a complete disaster. I had dinner there with my friends. There were only two tables occupied, I understand why. Shortly before 9 p.m the staff started cleaning and putting away the dishes. It was so loud that we couldn't talk anymore. When we asked to be quiet, the staff ignored us. Such a shame the food in the restaurant is really good. I think when a restaurant charges prices like that, you can expect good service. Here you have the feeling that you are not welcome. I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Singapore has so many great restaurants where you can get good food and good service.

Expensive but worth the penny with the premium selection of meat and a awesome broth to cook those meat with.

unappetzing soup base, bad ventilation, exceedingly poor service. would’ve had a better time at Haidilao (there’s also Wagyu on their menu apparently haha). cost around $150 per person after tax but that’s coz we were not enjoying it at all and didn’t order any alcohol. ate and left within 45mins like speedy gonzales.

Great atmosphere. Toilet is very clean. Beef is good . The only downside is the price is simply toooooo steep. It was only 50 percent full on a public holiday lunch time speaks for itself. 2 adults and 2 kids, and we spent 370 bucks Forget the dessert... It cost a bomb for what it is worth. We aren't full from the meal and has to eat something else outside...

This place is more of a 4.5 stars... The only thing that kinda knocks half a star is the eye watering dinner menu prices. But I guess you get what you pay for and the food was delicious. The beef and tounge were superb. The veggies and the noodles nothing special to be honest. The peanut sauce was indeed very nice. Worth a visit if you into shabu but be prepared to pay premium.

We decided for lunch here after hearing feedback of it's beef. The taste and the tenderness of the Hida 🐮 is as expectations, while the Kagoshima is slightly less tender. The rest of items and service is as expected for for a restaurant of this standing, and price. Oh, perhaps it's the hot weather today, we do feel that the air conditioning is a tad weak. And the staff is quick to offer iced water.

Dined there early on a quiet week night. Service wasn’t good. Had to shout and wave wildly to get water refill, tea refill, garnish and condiments. Goma (sesame) sauce is nice. Recently we had both ramen and rice at no extra charge. We asked if both rice and ramen were included in the sets, and the server acted like it was a big favor and agreed rather coolly, saying “ok then I can do that”. Erm… we can afford the side-dish of ramen. I replied with a smile “oh no need then”. The server became a bit nicer after that. Their menu is unclear. At the end of the meal, I asked if dessert was complimentary and when the server said yes, she can offer melon, ice cream or sorbet, I was delighted. The manager looked annoyed and she came back saying “Sorry, no”. That’s fine but why did you offer it then? My dining companion isn’t a dessert person so it’s not like I’m going to make him watch me eat dessert especially if it isn’t part of the set meal. when I declined dessert politely, the server and manager gave us disdainful looks. Hey ice cream doesn’t cost much. If we aren’t happy to pay for that, we certainly wouldn’t have paid for Kagoshima beef meal sets. Felt a bit uncomfortable and unhappy when we left. #awkward Oh and don’t wear anything nice. The ventilation is poor and our clothes and hair smelled so bad like we were air-fried for a few minutes. I cancelled my big party reservation there for the following week. Plenty of other restaurants with good Japanese beef and attentive service. After sending this feedback to them, they didn’t even reply. Disappointing for a supposed high class restaurant. Les Amis doesn’t make me feel awkward when I inquire about set meals and is always attentive regardless of how much I spend or who I’m with. If you guys want shabu shabu, really anywhere is loads better than Shabu Jin.
