Started private training with Sheela since Apr 2024 as I wanted to improve my core strength and mobility. I had attended Pilates group classes before… hence I was a relative beginner but not exactly a stranger to Pilates. Sheela is always very patient and brought awareness to build my foundation right and made sure I don’t experience pain during the training. This consciousness that Sheela had brought made me realise that a good workout doesn’t mean that you need to walk out of the studio with “jelly limps” or sore muscles/aches after every session (no pain no gain in exercises are overrated!)…. But yet, I started to feel myself getting stronger at a steady pace. Sheela’s calm and restful energy really helped set my mind at ease throughout every session. There was never judgement if I don’t feel up to it but as long as I showed for my sessions, I always leave feeling stronger and clear minded. If you are looking for something sustainable for the long haul, Sheela has the right approach and temperament for it!
