Sheela makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed even before you start the session with her. This helps a lot cos doing all the stretches in positions that I’m not used to, you really need to trust her instruction and feel safe in the silence while holding the stretches. Sheela constantly checks in with how your body is feeling and I feel that so imp. I let her know about every ache and tension I was feeling in each stretch and she responded super kindly and patiently. Made adjustments to make the stretch more comfortable. AND she knows exactly what to do to make the stretch deeper or more relaxed. Zero guess work. She really knows her stuff. No doubt about that. Sheela was sensitive to how I was responding to the stretches so she guided me along, following my pace instead of me having to try and follow hers. When the session was over, I stood up and IMMEDIATELY felt a difference in my body. I was shocked at how just one relaxing session with her changed how my body felt and looked. My posture was perfect. Shoulders, hips and knees aligned. I felt taller. My sight lines were higher. Not kidding. It felt like a reset button was hit. I didn’t even have to clench any muscles to keep aligned. So I think EVERYONE needs a session with Sheela. You’ll leave feeling brand new. I keep gushing when I see my reflection in mirrors and glass panels. Amazing…
The Wondering Wander Woman
Meeting Sheela to be my Pilates instructor is such a blessing. I had a lot of doubts about my body, strength, fats and motor skills as I generally lead a very sedentary lifestyle. Yet, I know it's important to start working on my well being. She guided me through this whole journey without judging me and was very encouraging. I thought I would give up after a while as with most physical exercises or activities I tried. Surprisingly, I didn't give up on Pilates after 1 year!!! Sheela cares and she listens, not just getting through the movements. She adapts the movements to meet my needs. Beyond our weekly classes, she would share videos on movements that I can do on my own when I travel and cannot make it for my classes. Sheela really takes the extra effort to ensure Pilates work for me throughout this journey. I'm really grateful and even encourage my sister to embark on this journey! She did not give up too!

When I started my training with Sheela, I was looking to build strength. I had very little knowledge and really needed a teacher who would be able to understand and help me with my needs. Having Sheela on this journey has been incredibly rewarding for my development. She is incredibly patient and she takes the time and the effort to understand and adjust the training to suit what I need. She does not try to rush me through steps, preferring an approach that is best described as holistic and inclusive. Every week I feel my strength building steadily and I am very grateful to Sheela for her support.

I chanced upon Sheela through google and was drawn to her private lessons. Seeking a natural approach to healing my body, I decided to try her classes. I've found her lessons to be clear, precise, and tailored to my specific needs. She paces her teaching perfectly, making the practices simple and easy to understand. Under her guidance, I've noticed significant improvements in my approach to exercises and how I strengthen my core. Im grateful for her teachings.

Started private training with Sheela since Apr 2024 as I wanted to improve my core strength and mobility.
I had attended Pilates group classes before… hence I was a relative beginner but not exactly a stranger to Pilates.
Sheela is always very patient and brought awareness to build my foundation right and made sure I don’t experience pain during the training.
This consciousness that Sheela had brought made me realise that a good workout doesn’t mean that you need to walk out of the studio with “jelly limps” or sore muscles/aches after every session (no pain no gain in exercises are overrated!)…. But yet, I started to feel myself getting stronger at a steady pace.
Sheela’s calm and restful energy really helped set my mind at ease throughout every session.
There was never judgement if I don’t feel up to it but as long as I showed for my sessions, I always leave feeling stronger and clear minded.
If you are looking for something sustainable for the long haul, Sheela has the right approach and temperament for it!
