Sadly it's closed down, last shop remains at ION orchard. Always had great service by an auntie (forgot her name), great at chatting and recommending vinegars. Can taste before buying too. If u buy their bottle, u can bring it (clean & dry) back for a cheaper refill price! Love to shop here for its large assortment of vinegars. They also various alcohol & nut/seed oil.

This is actually not a food-related post but I still want to post it up. So I was in ION Orchard, searching for this place called Vom Dad's which sells fine oils, vinegars, wine, whisky, cognac, spirits, liqueurs and delicatessen. I had a vague memory that I'd come here before but this time I was looking to buy whisky. I was attended by a knowledgeable personnel who was very patient and tried to help me finding the perfect match for me. Most of the unique whisky (and other alcohols) are stored in a cask - of course there are also that had been bottled earlier. I tried a lot of samples - from the young whisky to The Gentlemen 35 year old whisky. But in the end, I decided to buy a bottle of brandy de Jerez because the taste of sherry was very distinctive, something that I really like. I had since finished the bottle and planned to come back for now another bottle on my next visit.

A must visit for whiskey, cognac and liquor connoisseurs. Other than a selective range of excellent alcohol, they have an good collection of exotic oils, vinegars, some spreads and a lot more. Most of the products have an option to taste before buying and have three packaging sizes, so you can be sure of what you are buying. There are many unique alcohols which you won't find in the usual market and it makes a great gifting option too which will totally stand out and be remembered. The best part is that you can come back with the empty bottle for a refill and save a few bucks in the process. This is eco-friendly and is much needed! The staff comprised an elderly gentleman who is knowledgeable, polished and hospitable making the entire experience memorable. I recommend this place and il totally shop here again to keep trying new products each time ☺️

Unique store selling aged balsamic vinegar, fruit vinegar, special condiments. Good quality and helpful staff. It's quite enjoyable to sample different vinegar to appreciate the taste quality before purchase.

Vom Fass is a gem inside JEM, no pun intended. Although I didn't stock up on products from here, my brother patronised them on a few occasions for housewarming gifts for those who drink. They don't just have liquor and wine here. You can have customised sizes of mixers, various fragrances of olive oil, sauces, pasta. The displays are mesmerising too! I love the wooden casks, the glass cauldrons and the dainty looking bottles. Not forgetting to mention that the service here is warm and accommodating to your queries and needs. Their closure will be a loss to us Westies but fret not as they move back to their main store at Ion Orchard.
