Today was the 3rd time I visited this cafe this month. We always had good service.
I decided that it is time to compliment the staff for being so welcoming and friendly.
I managed to get one name, Jeannie Chin.
I think she went above her duties to make us felt really good.
We ordered 2 pots of coffee to be shared by 3 of us.
6 assorted croissants.
I like the coffee and cream best but they ran out of it.
Orange was just as good.
In fact, they were all good.
The atmosphere there is always bustling.
We queue for about 8 mins and we got our seats.
We were lucky because the crowd built up pretty quickly.
Cream was served with the coffee.
Everything about this place is just right.
Casual but nice.
Croissants were to die for.
I would be visiting them again very soon.
Nothing is more satisfying and comforting than having a Cold Ice Bacha Coffee (Elephant Queen) served to you freshly brewed. Remember to add their signature cream to your coffee for an enhanced flavour! Be patient while waiting for your seats.
There are so many coffee choices at Bacha Coffee in Takashimaya that it’s hard to decide what to try. Ended up going for the Blue Mountain coffee just to see what the fuss was about.
To be honest, I’m not really sure how to tell if it’s good or not—I’m still learning to appreciate fancy coffee! Personally, I prefer espresso or ristretto coffee more.
The Mont Blanc cake looked amazing and totally tempted me, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste.
We ordered 2 types of coffee, one about $20+ and the other a mixed Blue Mountain blend for around $70+. Nice experience overall, though I think my taste buds need more training!
Hi foodies..its me again. Thanks for your patience for reading my post once again. As you know my review is always pretty long and detail as i always tell the truth..hahaha..
Finally, I got the chance to get a seat at Bacha at Taka as it is usually crowded. The last time I went to another branch, it was a loooong q, I gave up. This time, I was impressed by their service! Jamie the lady in the picture was very attentive, she knows the menu well! If you have been reading my reviews, I am a tiramisu fan, so of course i will order their tiramisu which cost $18 for dine in and $21 for takaway. As i was abit overwhelmed by menu, I asked Jamie what coffee goes best with their tiramisu. She suggested SWEET NOCCLOLA COFFEE ICE ARABIC ICE with nutty flavour and i also told her i like nutty flavour. And to my surprise, its very nice. The tiramisu is very delicious! I HAD 2! yOU SEE THE 3 SQUARE CUBES ON TOP IN THE PICTURE? ITS ACTUALLY DARK CHOCOLATE! When i bite it, and it goes perfectly with the rest of the tiramisu. Every bite of the tiramisu was perfect to me. In my opinion, I thought ALL ABout tiramisu was the best, I think Bacha coffee is the winner now. Anyway, calling out tiramisu fans, please go try ok and share your tots with me, thank you. And Vince was very friendly, i observed the way he prepared the pastries on to the plate, he was very calm and very hygienic, when i talked to him and smile to him, he maintained eye contact, very smartly dressed. I am impressed that the straw is glass:))) so cute, they let me bring home the straw ...they clean it for and wrapped it up with a paper...impressive..i will keep it as a memory...i have never used a glass straw before..Overall, I enjoyed my time at Bacha taka very much, except the chair, too high la....I spent $88.70 for 2 person, 1 glass of ice coffee, 1 pot of hot coffee, 2 tiramisu, 1 pastry. was it worth it? To me, YES! NOT every month la of course...hahaha...once in awhile..self love is ok lor...ciao!
Came to buy 4 croissants. The male staff suggested buying 2 more so they would fit neatly in the box and we agreed, trying to help. But when we got to the counter, the staff were confused about whether the 1-for-1 promotion was still on and whose order it was.
The Filipino female staff member was extremely frustrating. All 6 croissants came in one big box, and all we asked for were two small paper bags to take two croissants separately. Instead of helping, she kept repeating, “This is already on promotion,” as if that was an answer. So if it wasn’t on promotion, then paper bags would magically exist? Ridiculous.
I asked the male staff for help, and the same woman repeated the same line even though I wasn’t talking to her. Thankfully, the male staff just handed me sheets of wrapping paper, which solved the issue.
We were trying to be cooperative and make transaction go though smoothly, yet the female staff made a simple request unnecessarily difficult. Really poor customer service. Not coming back.
Takashimaya branch is good for quick breaks in between shopping, work etc. Better google/reddit for coffee recos rather than asking their staff 😒. Pour-over (Copacabana) Coffee could have tasted significantly better if it had been brewed right! Most prolly be coming back for their packed coffees (tastes better) and pastries!!
Did my weekend shopping and saw seats available within the mall. Had nice pot of holiday morning coffee with chocolate cake. All is gd! Will come again! Nice friendly staff too!
Here to get my birthday treat from Prudential. Their coffee were nice, and the 2 croissants that I chose were also good. The outlet is tastefully decorated, and the service staff were friendly and prompt.
Service is fantastic! Definitely a must visit when you’re in Singapore, there are so many great options if you love coffee! I love giving the Explorer’s or Traveller’s sets as gifts- you get a variety of different drip coffee sets to try out their range before committing to a particular type. The Singapore Morning coffee is surprisingly a favourite! Oh, their coffee cake is really good too!
