i liked this way more than the other bistro in orchard plaza :/ four cheese pizza looks unassuming but was rly delicious hamburg was super jooooosy roast beef generous portion and tender!

Been coming to this cosy izakaya bar since 2020 for their uni pasta. It’s perfectly al dente and with a generous amount of uni. We also really like the fried camembert. The prices are on the high side, given the portion sizes, though generally the food standard is good. Service is warm and there are always Japanese diners every time we visit. On our most recent visit, we were encouraged to give a 5-star review in exchange for complimentary desserts. The Azuki Daifuku and Genmai-Matcha Ice Cream are recommended (not to mention a great pairing). Their Whatsapp line also makes it easy to make reservations now.

The staff were very friendly and polite and recommended the perfect dishes based on our preferences! Shop was busy but they still were able to provide excellent service. Tried the oden, simmered fish collar and tuna maki. Food was incredible! Kudos to Nat Chan, Gladys Chan and Daniel San, the staffs on duty that day! The atmosphere at this restaurant was fantastic, with a really lively and trendy feel. The food was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the oden and crab croquettes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

In my humble opinion, an over rated Japanese restaurant. Food were decent but the shushi roll was not good - seaweed was soggy , though with a good selection of crafted / drafted sakes. Perhaps there are many better options available in Singapore, making it being rated by me as such. Reservation can only be made online as the restaurant has no phone line. It doesn't appeal to me to be back again.

Hole in a wall izakaya spot with very few seats. Food was fresh and prepared on the spot once you order, it’s a small space so you literally sit by the counter and order directly. Simple but yet very flavorful and comforting - drinks were affordable too. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area, looking for some comfort snacks and night cap to wind down for the night.

Our craving for oden led us to try Apollon's version, which featured a savoury chicken broth instead of the traditional light soy flavoured dashi broth. We chose the set of 6, including daikon, chikuwa, chicken meat ball, gyutan, fishcake and sausage, and supplemented it with 'money bag' (fried tofu skin stuffed with mochi) and oysters accompanied with fresh seaweed. The tuna roll was quite good, but I would recommend skipping the uni topping. Unfortunately, I failed to carefully read the description and was surprised to find that it was stuffed with an egg yolk, which made it overly rich when paired with uni. In order to feel less guilty, I decided to order the deep-fried burdock, taking into account its multiple health benefits. It is worth noting, letying it sit too long will render it somewhat chewy, so better to eat it while it's hot.

Our regular siblings nights out and were glad that we managed to get a reservation confirmed, was told not easy to get one. Had a great time here! The food were good, Tin the server, gave stellar recommendations. We had 2x720ml of sake too. Will be back

I like the food and the atmosphere... The curry udon is the best👌🏻 The sashimi is fresh and thick. The chicken liver wow.
