Mala was so damn good. Just too addictive. 🤤🤤 Went in for the 1st bite and couldn't even stop. The only time where my family actually stopped was when we bought 1 more rice. Tomato eggs was only very good. Environment was also chill and cozy. Overall quite cheap and shockingly amzing food. Definitely recommend.

Ordered on Deliveroo, portion came totally wrong. We ordered 3x of each ingredient but only came 1x. Totally a rip off. The wait was incredibly long as well, waiting for almost 1hr 30mins just for the food to arrive. RED FLAG MALA STORE

Ordered the signature dishes for 3 pax. Very good. For those who like spicy, ask for it. As it was our first time trying, we kept it normal - and it wasn't spicy enough - though the fragrance of the spices came through strong. Boss from Shenzhen is very friendly. Ordered from 1 unit (kitchen) and ate at another nicely furnished unit. Will be back.

Visited La Way on two occasions and my rating is based on the two. For the first visit, I only ordered their mala xiangguo. It was a bit pricey compared to heartland coffee shops but the quality is really good. Meats and other ingredients taste fresh. Love the less oil and less salt option which I both selected and the dish was really light to my liking. For my second visit, I ordered egg fried rice and la zi ji. For $9, I find the portion of the fried rice to be not worth the money (it's just rice, eggs and chives). It's a bit too oily too. The lzj was a major disappointment as the chicken pieces were coated in a thick flour and there were not that many actual chicken pieces. Didn't find it worth it for $20. All in all, I'll skip the other dishes next time and will just order the mlxg.

Delicious mala hot pot, reasonable price, nice environment, and long open hours. Ordered at 9:30 am and got my food quickly. The less oil option is good for diet. Will definitely come here again.

We accidentally walked into this restaurant, ordered Mala for 2 persons, had surprisingly great experience. The food was really very authentic and unlike many other mala food vendor - the quality of meats and veges are top notch. Most of the vege/mushrooms items were charged at $1, meats range from $2-$3 each. We have order around 10 items, plus 1 bowl of rice and 1 bottle of water - surprisingly it only costed $20 in total. The portion was quite big, good enough for 3 person. Highly recommended for Mala enthusiasts. Pros: - good taste - very reasonable price - very good service - clean - ambient Cons: - location a bit hidden I will definitely come again and try out other menus items.

I like how they clearly state the price out of ingredients for you. The meat is nice with a good texture (ordered mutton and pork). I ordered medium spicy and it is very flavourful while not being too salty. The only thing I don’t like is the aircon is a bit weak haha. The person there is also very friendly

<ö+ TasteMarked Reviews +ø> A hidden gem at Orchard Tower (L4). We stumbled upon this small MALA restaurant named La Way. The place was empty, when we reached there on a Saturday evening. We’ve met a nice lady, probably the owner of the shop and she explained that they have more online orders than sit-down customers. The quality of the ingredients is good. The Mah taste wasn’t very strong but there’s a special taste in the gravey… (i suspect its the beef oil). It’s not too salty too unlike the other shops we tried. The taste was just nice. We will definitely coming back here and bring our friends over! But we’ll try a bit more spicier level. The dishes looks amazing too! Will defined try those next time too!!! This is my go-to for authentic Ma La Hot Pot. The flavor is perfectly balanced and truly hits the spot, making it my favorite in town—especially for delivery at night :)

Not nice! Mala standard is very average! no different from hawker & more exp. peoples park mala is much better! Meats in the Chicken cubes is so small, more flour than meats.. Egg fried rice looks normal but surprisingly quite good, guess is the seasoning msg.
