Very disappointing. The mezze platter was sad and bland ( I usually love it). The kabab was okay okay- much better would be available on the roadside anywhere in the world. 😞😞

nice restaurant, just bit pricey for atmosphere of a shopping mall and serving sizes. if you stick with the doner you will be good. ordered what we thought were 4 mains for 4 people, waiter didnt mention the most expensive item was also the smallest and was actually a starter. Expect better from a place with such a high price tag. food was all very tasty, just stick the doner or maybe the meat platter for 2.

Overall the food was nice and price reasonable. The staff service was good. Could give it a try. The chicken kebab was good

Delicious food, but took very long to be served. It was not crowded on a Sat night. There were 4 of us and we reached there around 730pm. The food came between 30-45mins after we ordered. Appreciate that the restaurant served water foc.

We enjoyed the 2 person grill. Definitely a must eat. Ambience is ok, price is reasonable. Mezze was ok. It is quite popular and crowded. We were there on a Saturday night and quite full.

A friend found a piece of plastic in beef hotplate. Though it was replaced with a new one, was charged d full price with no remorse or regrets until I whined abt my disgust & disappointed den only I was given $9 off our total lunch tt day by d I believe is d boss. Will nvr go there or recommend others to go there.

i odered nasi pattaya and the presentation wasnt prompting, the egg is still raw in and taste is soo tasteless is like just rice n egg end up did not even eat it

Amazing food and service, easily better than any Zi Char (Chinese Seafood Restaurant) out there. I would recommend the Thai claypot prawn glass noodles is very flavourful for people who loves blackpepper; prawns are fresh and sweet. Thai lemongrass Chicken cutlet with fried rice is really good too, especially with their special thai seafood chilli sauce. Even the Ngoh Hiang is delicious and satisfying. Will definitely come again.

Food was really tasty. Service was great too. Maybe the salted egg sotong was abit pricey at $19. Nevertheless, it was a good meal. Definitely will head back

We dropped by Cahaya Restaurant mainly because most other places were packed, and it was one of the few spots with available seating. The food itself was okay, decent flavour, nothing to complain about, but nothing that really stood out either. Price-wise, it’s not the cheapest option around, especially when compared to similar eateries nearby. For what we ordered, it felt slightly on the higher side, though still acceptable if you’re just looking for a convenient place to settle down and eat without waiting too long. Overall, Cahaya is a decent fallback option when everywhere else is crowded, but not necessarily a place I’d go out of my way for.
