✨Check out @nomninjas on instagram, lemon8, facebook for more❤️ ✨credits when photos or videos used‼️ … 💡 : Go early before the usual mealtimes even on weekends as there will definitely be a queue‼️ … Found out bout this place by Word of Mouth and brought family along, lucky we reached at 530pm as the queue really start snaking after! If you are alone, can go for their rice sets below $10 ( about $8.30) but as we are a group of 5, we ordered: 1) yang chou fried rice 2) Teo chew Kway Teow 💯‼️ must get! prefer this to the fried rice!❤️ 3) Salted Egg Pork 💯 4) Prawn 5) Hot Plate Tofu 💯 6) Garlic Dou Miao 💯 7) Sambal Kang Kong … Above all for bout $90 in total!👍which is really reasonable considering we ordered meat and seafood for a group of 5😍✨ Super satisfying singaporean meal that you can find around the heart of Orchard😬 No wonder there is a queue but no worries, bit clamp seating so people eat and leave immediately 😂

Came on a weekday around 8pm. There was a short queue with little to no wait time. The restaurant was nearly full. Two of us got a Salted egg pork, butter sotong, Sambal Kang Kong and rice with fried eggs. Bill came up to $47.40. The salted egg pork was AMAZING. SO FLAVOURFUL. Still crispy and there is an abundance of sauce. The dish is rich but not jelak. Unfortunately butter sotong had no salt whatsoever. The squid was fresh and cooked well but the lack of salt was rather disappointing. Kang Kong is nothing to rave about. Decent. Overall a great meal, carried by the pork.

Restaurant Review: New Station, Far East Plaza Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently takeaway at New Station in Far East Plaza, and while the food had its moments, my experience took a turn for the worse. To start, the food (salted fish fried rice) was good. The flavors were decent, and the prices were reasonable for what you get. Portion sizes were also alright, leaving me feeling satisfied—until I encountered a shocking issue in another dish (salted fried chicken rice) As I bit into my chicken, a dead cockroach fell out! 😱 I can’t even begin to describe how gross that was. I rushed to rinse my mouth, feeling completely unsettled. I threw the rest away. While I wanted to enjoy my meal, that incident overshadowed everything else. Cleanliness is crucial in any restaurant, and this experience has left me hesitant to recommend New Station to anyone. Until they address their hygiene issues, I’d suggest looking elsewhere for a dining experience. It’s a shame because the food had potential, but the reality was hard to swallow.

A cozy, family-run spot that’s been around since 1994. Seating’s a bit tight, but no worries—the crowd moves fast. Service was super quick, and the staff were so friendly. The Teochew hor fan? Total winner of the day! 🤣 Definitely coming back to try more.

A classic eatery that brings back memories of the 90s. The setting is simple with basic tables and chairs, and the focus is on serving good food without any fuss. We ordered the salted egg pork, green dragon vegetables, seafood hor fun, and hotplate tofu. Every dish was delicious and well-seasoned. The salted egg gravy stood out with its rich and fragrant aroma. It was creamy and smooth, without any gritty chunks of salted egg, which showed great attention to detail. The pork was cooked perfectly, striking the right balance between tender and crispy. It was not overly oily, and each piece was evenly coated in the flavorful gravy. The seafood hor fun had a nice eggy fragrance and a good amount of wok hei. Although the noodles were slightly clumped, the strong flavors and seasoning made up for it. The hotplate tofu was the standout dish for me. The sauce was unique and had an excellent mix of sweetness and savoriness that took the dish to another level. The green dragon vegetables were fresh and crunchy, with beansprouts adding texture and brown shimeji mushrooms providing a softer contrast. This dish complemented the richer options by offering a light and refreshing balance. I would recommend this eatery to anyone looking for authentic and delicious local fare. Zichar places like this are great for groups because you can order several dishes to share and enjoy more variety. This spot is highly recommended.

Service is horrible. There’s this China lady server I guess, she is quite rude and didnt explain the things properly as we are first timer here, pls dont expect we know all the rules and prices of your restaurant. 😡 Other than that, Food is pretty good and flavorful. We ordered marmite chicken rice and salted egg pork rice, commendable tastes.

The salted egg pork rice at New Station Snack Bar is a must-try! The crispy pork is perfectly coated in a rich, creamy salted egg sauce that’s packed with flavor. Paired with fluffy rice, it’s a satisfying and indulgent meal. The portion sizes are generous, and the dish has the perfect balance of savory and creamy. The casual setting is great for a quick and tasty meal, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit for anyone craving a unique twist on a classic dish!

Very nice and delicious Local food. I would say most of their items are top notch delights. Salted egg pork + their various Kum Hiong (slight spice) are favourite. Today realised their Beef horfun is extremely nice as well. This is a purely Eat - Finish - Go place. U dont get to hang around for long due to the constant long Q and people waiting for seats. Plenty of items on menu for you to choose. Nice and 1 of the better local delights in town for sure.

My must visit resto when I came to Singapore! The Salted Egg Pork is the best! ❤️ All the food were delicious! The place not so big. So you need to order and enjoy the food as fast as you can.
