Ms Pauline Teh was friendly,pleasant and approacheable towards e customer. I was coughing earlier and she gave me cough tabs. It was so sweet of her. She is an asset to your organisation.

SG Manpower does not really know the maids that they place in people's homes. They do not have a training centre or any facility where they get to know, watch or supervise the helper. I have had two maids from their agency. Both were grossly overweight, the first so badly that it shocked me that I mentioned it to the agent Sonia when she first arrived in Singapore. It did not look such in her photo on the biodata. The maids both agreed to the job and then within a week of arriving do not want to do the exact job that they have agreed to, which involved looked after a crippled cat, despite being shown photos of the animal and given explanations of what would be required. I have had to outfit my house with a complete recording system as the maid they have placed have told a wide variety of lies. They say things like they are overworked when the camera has caught the latest maid refusing to attempt the chores, sitting around on her mobile phone, and work she is supposed to do goes untouched until I stand behind her to do it. Some days that works, other days she ignores me. On they days when she decides to work, she has leisure time. Both the maids from SG Manpower have mental health issues... the first maid talked about wanting to commit suicide and is extremely anxious because she was beaten up by her brother in Indonesia whenever he was drunk. I also told the agent that she has a low IQ and could be mildly intellectually disabled as her answers are off tangent when being spoken at times. She could also repeat back instructions but could not carry them out accurately. The second current maid is deliberately defiant, doing things to irritate on purpose such as washing the animal bowls over our plates to get a reaction, refuses to work, etc., etc., etc. Her moods are extremely unstable, and she vacillates between asking what to do and shortly after, being aggressive when asked to do something. She has said she wants to work with an elderly living alone like her previous two jobs with very little work, a big salary and no supervision. When I hired her, she told me to let her know if she was not doing her work correctly. When she started living in my house, and if I told her, she would do one of the following: shout at me, shout about not wanting to work any more, or deliberately continue to do what I told her not to. The staff at SG Manpower are interested in their MOM ranking, so if the workers they place with you turn out to be horrible, they will say it is you who is the bad employer and make all kinds of insinuations and try not to service the account any longer. I have invited them to come into my home to observe first hand the actual situation. Not only are they are not interested clarifying, they continue their insinuations. I asked the owner: Desmond, to come straight out and say what I am being accused of but he will not. I have warned them about defamatory false accusations as I have security footage of everything that goes on in my home due to their maids. They have stopped responding to text messages about getting me a replacement and are in violation of their contract with me. If they really are unable to provide suitable replacements, they should communicate it respectfully rather than blame shift, and offer a refund or compensation for the terrible workers they have placed.
