Standard have dropped alot since the last time I’ve had it. Ordered bakmie sambal ijo and tahu goreng cabe. noodle was overcooked, not mixed well, rather too soggy and they forgotten the sambal ijo, wasn’t being nice when I came back to rectify the mistake. Some pieces of the batter from the tofu was undercooked. Cashier was rude, gave a wrong receipt and was being rude about her own mistake. Just no longer satisfactory like how I had it before.

Poor service when i ask about soto ya goat cos some of the soup not spicy and the chili is separate the staff are so rude otherwise i ask very gentle cos my daughter didn’t eat spicy , after that i ask for the mie ayam which is i know the noodle is niot spicy and i ask again about the chili cos usually they give the chili sauce for the noodle. Still the staff rude, I think this is what sometimes we prefer to eat at restaurants because the service not make us feel disappointed

This place literally serves one of the best indo food I have tried in Singapore, and was even approved by my friends from Indonesia too! First thing to try is their beef soup with rice, Soto Betawi. One sip of the soup and you can immediately tell how much ingredients and efforts were put into cooking them. It taste great! Full of umami and keeps you craving for more! A must try if you are dining alone. If you are dining with your friend, then you can try their next dish, the mee goreng with chicken cutlet and green chilli! The mee goreng (while not really fried), has the right amount of MSG that just tastes awesome! While not everyone likes it, at least my Indonesia friend approves! Trust me, it tastes better than indomie! As for dessert, just go with the manis murtabak with chocolate rice and cheese! It won’t go wrong but try to order this only when you have minimally 3 pax dining, otherwise it can be quite “jerlat”!

Hidden Gem! Authentic Indonesian food served here, we really enjoyed the: 1. Laksa Spaghetti, it has more coconut taste, spaghetti is well cooked and infused with the sauce 2 Beef ball noodles - the soup is light and flavourful. you can taste the essence of Indonesia through the noodles (quoted from my fiance). Their quality of food is constant, and I came a few times to try out different dishes. Hopefully they'll stay for long!! Friendly staff, feels exactly like their stall name, Home :)

Rare to spot a 4.8 rating stall situated within a coffee shop, and decided to pop by and give it a try for dinner. 🍝 ordered the famous one, number 3 on the menu, and it was pretty good - chicken was something I liked, tenderness was perfect, very much like a pulled pork. The spiciness level wasn’t too much to take at level 2, a good bowl of noodles. The fried cutlet (number 2 on menu) was similar good, not overly fried and I liked the Maggie noodles that comes with it, could say that it’s a little too dry though, else it would have been perfect All in all, a good bowl of Indonesian inspired noodles at an affordable price in town.

Cosy cafe tucked away in a corner of Junction 9 with a good selection of Indonesian food. All the food was absolutely delicious but the standouts were the perkedel bomb, mie ayam rica and of course martabak budi. The perkedel was packed with delicious beefy flavours on the inside and crispy on the outside. The mie ayam rica was infused with tumeric and reminded me of Indonesian curry dishes and was super spicy! The martabak was not as sweet as the terang bulan I’ve had in Manado and I highly recommend to add all the toppings. It was heavenly and went perfectly with the strong kopi tubruk. To top it all off service was fast, warm and friendly. Will definitely come back to try the rice dishes next!

The counter staff served the food with cheer! I ordered rice with drumstick. The gravy was flavourful, very authentic. You should ask for their belachan. It will level up the spice of the chicken. The egg was a tad overcooked, though. Value for money Indonesian food along orchard road. Thumbs up! Will be back here for sure!

Yummy Indonesian food stall in Food Republic at 313 Somerset. Tried Mie Ayam Lamongan and Nasi Goreng Chicken Cutlet Cabe Ijo. Mie Ayam Lamongan was nice and flavourful, noodle was cooked al dente, the chicken lamongan was good. The Fried Rice was delicious and tasty, got the wok hey aroma and green chilli flavour. Chicken cutlet was nice, crispy outside and and juicy inside. They gave separate cabe ijo as condiment, it was good and chilli was spicy. Overall very nice and authentic Indonesian food. Have tried also their Pempek and Martabak on the other time, all were nice too. The food portion was decent and food was served hot, nice presentation as well. Service may a bit of waiting time as they made to order. Will come back to try other menus.

Quick tea before we start our day here in Orchard. And Toastbox is just the right place. Stationed at the back of Paragon Mall, early people queue to get their breakfast. The tables are almost full when we get here. 🤗 The tea that we ordered was soo hot that we can even hold the paper cup. 😑 So does other shops, Toast Box is equipped with paperless transaction. Tap from my phone and voila!! Paid!! 🤑 For tourist who are looking for this place, it can be found just across the Mt Elizabeth Hospital. Cheers!

Mee Siam set with drink (no more cake so I wasn’t given a cake). Mee Siam is dry type, barley drink was satisfactory. The air in the cafe was very still (stuffy, poor air circulation) Consolation is if you sit near the glass walls you can see something interesting outside at times. Watching the cars go by and passersby walking by can be therapeutic at times.
