Quite delicious and many innovative flavours. The skin is done just right, good chew and doesn’t stick to teeth. Got their mung bean - it was balanced, not to sweet. Black sesame was a tad dry for me. Standout would be the parma one which is on a mung bean base with shallot oil. Surprisingly delightful combo.

Many interesting flavours of AKK never seen b4. I only tried the parma ham flavour, sweet and savoury plus hints of shallot oil, parma ham not very prominent but can taste the kiam-ness. The other flavours and baos were gifts for my friend. Will ask for their review after they have tried .

Got the truffle charsiew bun. Taste is alright, however the fillings are miserably little. Just a thin line across. Got 3 buns of which 2 buns has miserably little fillings. Very inconsistent. Paying for flour.

My Rendezvous with Mdm Ang KK Shop/ Kiosk : Mdm Ang KK #B1-K12 @ Paragon Shopping Centre 290 Orchard Rd S(238859) Daily Operating Hours: 9.30 am to 8.30 pm Last Friday, I decided to take some time off from driving to come here for a rendezvous with/ Madam Ang KK … Hunted down the shop/ Kiosk and a short Q filled with Tai Tais in the Q and one even got the cheek to jump Q till I show my angry 😡 face … Decided to snag 7 of the mixed Ang Ku Kueh that come with 2 free in a box and paid $18.00 … Happily brought to the car to snap some shots and to my horror as I edited out from the car park 🅿️ after only 1/2 hr of Go-buy-lift-drive out to the tune of $5.00 … Had 2 pieces of the Original Mung Bean 🫘 + the Kopi version, both tasted great 👍 with softer skin, fairly thin but smaller in size; gone within 2-3 small bites and probably 1 big bite for the job … Kept the rest, chilled in the fridge and steamed wok for wife to eat them and to my goodness … she taken 1/2 of every bite of the mixed Ang Ku Kueh and left me the balance in shock 😮 😳… Unable to differentiate the taste 👅, some likes 👍 and some don’t likes 👎; overall mixed reactions … Only thing I think it stand out was their pinewood rack for their steaming station at their shop front while their dough for their Ang Ku Kuehs with the exotic taste 👅 bud can easily confused our taste bud ; it’s upto individual to their subjected taste 👅 and feel ; I am more inclined to the traditional types and open for some of their exotic taste 👅 though not all available and once left in the cold. Their skin may hardened and that shall “break” the goodness of Ang KK… The branding was catchy : Madam Ang KK ( which basically meant : “Ang Ku Kueh” lah … and iconic with a cartoonist caricature lady figurine ! 😯 🤩 👍 ⭐️ Give it a try and share your thoughts of likes or dislikes … Preview the curated unedited video clips 🎥 for some hilarious 🤣 moments and photos collage of truth ! Are U Hungry 😋? Monday Blues Cheers 🥂 #AUHBMark #AUHFCAngKuKueh #AUHFCHeritageSnack #MadamAngKK

It's good, and it's something that will look good for parties and gatherings. But, I'm not sure if it's ever going to be worth the kind of money that they charge for simple traditional ang ku kueh. Sure, they have fancy new flavors like truffle and pama ham, but beyond it all, it's stillwater mung bean paste and traditional kueh. Personally, I still like the traditional flavors of nutty classic peanut ang ku kueh, lucky mung ang ku kueh, and the ti ti orh nee ang ku kueh. If you want, do get the assorted flavors so that you can try. One suggestion for the business; make your colors or identification of flavors, a lot more obvious than it currently is, so as to remove the guesswork.

15/10/2024 Takeaway mung bean ang ku kueh ($1.90) & peanut ang ku kueh ($1.90), was good. Not overly sweet and slight savoury. I'll be back to try other flavours of ang ku kueh.

Newly opening peranakan kueh by one of the eatery boss. They are having promo for their new opening in this mall. Now then got to know ang ku kueh can have so much variety in tastes & colors. Definitely traditional peanut paste was my first choice. The rest of it were mostly either pistacho, truffle bean paste or hazel nut paste. Cos still no fridge at home, better not to have any meat in it. As per advised by the staff. The peanut paste was good with some nuts still in 1 small piece. Very differ. The only con is the kueh is abit flat & small 😋

Love their many multi coloured AKKs! So pretty to look at and they were delicious. Love their skin/wrappings - thin and packed with loads of ingredients. Their orh nee ones are so hard to get a hold of, I have yet to purchase them on both visits. Apparently, they sell like hot cakes as they don’t mass produce. I tried both their kuehs - savoury and sweet ones and my preference is the latter. Stall was tucked away in a quiet corner, easily overlooked but not for the keen eyed and inquisitive ones. This was my second visit and I finally made a purchase as the sales person behind the counter was friendly and helpful unlike my first visit last year. They are not cheap but worth the spent as they are of quality products. Only realised they are Old Seng Choong as I took a brochure for reading. A brand name I chanced upon last year whilst in transit at the Singapore Changi Airport whose Pandan chiffon cake I gifted to my friends and I enjoyed.

Had promotion buy 4 get 1. Wide variety of flavors. Peanut one was not to my liking. The peanut filling was abit too uneven with different size of peanut bits. Some may like it for texture. But flavor was lacking. Skin was thin and soft though. Orh Ni (yam) flavor was the better one. The filling was fragrant and smooth. All said, the stacking of the kueh had resulted in the skin torn even though the one above it was gently removed.

The skin texture is soft & nice. Bought a few flavours . I still prefer the traditional flavor like mung bean & peanuts. Nothing much to rave about as I have tasted better ones.
