I’ve been a customer with Sam for over 20 years and couldn’t be happier. Recently he took great care looking after my wife new contact lenses .He’s professional, caring, and always takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. I trust him completely with my eye care and highly recommend him to anyone . Now the new shop is at Wisma :)
Big thanks to Sam! He was patient and gave me helpful suggestions on which frames are best for my daily needs. Ended up with a pair of glasses I really like. Happy with my purchase and with the good service.
This has been our go to place whenever we need new specs, and every visit has been such a pleasant experience. The team here is always warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walk in. Special mention to Sam, who consistently goes above and beyond to help us find the perfect pair of glasses.
Sam is incredibly patient and attentive, he takes the time to understand our preferences, explain the lens options, and even gives honest advice on which frames suit us best. It’s clear that he truly cares about helping customers make the right choice rather than just making a sale.
We’ve bought several pairs of specs here over the years, and the quality and service have always been excellent. From eye checks to fitting and after-sales support, everything is handled with professionalism and care. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service, stylish frames, and a team that really values their customers.
We were referred to the Parkway Parade store since the Wisma Atria outlet was undergoing some changes.
We are grateful to Sam and the team for rushing the transition lenses just three days before our trip to Switzerland.
We opted for Zeiss lenses, and they turned out to be far superior to standard sunglasses lenses.
The team also helped shape the lenses to fit our existing frame perfectly! The lenses adapted beautifully, becoming darker than regular sunglasses when UV levels were high, providing exceptional comfort throughout the trip. No regrets!"
I recently have a wonderful experience at Alexis Eyewear Boutique @Wisma Atria. Alexis just moved to @Wisma Atria from Paragon.
Mr. Sam Ng is an amazing staff. He is so professional., knowledgeable and friendly. I always like to go back to Alexis as they have the most sophisticated machine that can help you to get the proper prescription for your Eyewear. They also carry many top of the line fashionable eye frames which are also very durable. I would highly recommend Alexis to anyone who wants to look for a pair of new Eyewear.
What an exceptional experience from start to finish! I felt listened to from the moment I walked in and came out with not one but two pairs of glasses that have truly changed my daily life for the better. Huimin was an absolute standout! I can’t speak highly enough of Alexis Eyewear… they will be my ‘go to’ for a long time to come 😊 …
Sent in my suede NB 990s to rid of dirt stains and water marks but shoes came back with the stains looking even more obvious and darker. Very disappointing and now left with uglier looking pair of sneakers. Wasn’t expecting perfect results, but not expecting to get back a pair of shoes in worst condition.
Update: Thank you Jack, Co-founder of Shoe Mo. Appreciate your prompt action after seeing my review. Thank you for going all the way out to liaise with your staff here in Sg to resolve the issue. Applause to your great effort. Hope that the team in Marina Square will review their service and strive for the company.
---------------------------------------------------------------------Visited Marina Square outlet. Firstly, the service is bad. Upon arrival, I have informed about my intention to pick up the shoes. However the staff replied saying "can you wait, I need your order number". As requested, I read out the number for him and he stopped me and said "wait (again!)". Hence, I waited while he placed the shoes on the desk and continued with his tablet. After waiting for quite some time, as there is no response for him, I removed my earpiece and looked at him. After a few seconds, he finally raised his head and told me that is it. I repeated if it means I can grab and go. He replied yes. Just to recap, the shoes were just there and he didn't ask me to check or offer to help to place into the shoe bag, which he just left on the table with the shoes.
Secondly, the shoes has went for deep cleaning. However, after I stepped out of the shop to check. The laces and soles are not cleaned properly. Laces are still as black and soles are still with sands.
The customer service and cleaning service were a total disappointment. Bad customer service that spoilt the day, followed by, a wasted trip. As the shoes has to be cleaned again and can only be picked up the next day.
Hope that it will really be ready when I pick up tomorrow.
PS: If you think that is bad enough, prior to sending the shoes over for cleaning, I have even WhatsApp their number to make appointment for the cleaning. Specifically asked if 2plus would be good, and they replied yes. But upon arrival at 2.20plus, the shop was locked and staff was out for an hr of break. I have no choice but to wait for an hr till they come back. Should have take it that it is a bad sign.
Gonna be writing a totally honest & objective review about my experiences with Shoemo here.
Visited their outlet on 2 Aug, with 2 pairs of sneakers for cleaning. Asked the staff how long the process would take, they told me within 5-7 working days, & I'd be updated via email or SMS.
By 13 Aug (11 days later), there were still no updates, so I contacted them to check, but only got a reply 2 days later.
Headed to the store on 16 Aug (2 weeks later, not 5-7 days as promised) to collect both pairs. Saw that the first pair was decently clean so kudos to the team there.

Here's where it goes downhill. I found that the iconic Stan Smiths logo on my second pair's tongue had been scrapped off & there were bleeding stains on the material. The staff nonchalantly dismissed that "it was like this when we received it" which I firmly refuted. Manager then quite rudely explained that this bleeding "cannot be helped".
My point here is, if the staff knew that such bleeding was inevitable then why didn't they highlight this to customers beforehand? If I'd known there was even a small chance that it would bleed, I wouldn't have risked sending them in or would've requested for them not to wash that area instead. I've washed this pair for the past 3 years & nothing like this has ever happened before.
Anyway since the damage was already done, the manager begrudgingly asked me to give them another 3-5 days to see what they could do to clean up the mess.

21 Aug (5 days later); asked for status updates, only got a reply at 9pm saying that they'd update me the next day, but they never did. Had to ask them again on 23 Aug, and they replied saying that they were still trying to fix it, & to give them ANOTHER 5-7 days to do so.
Incredibly disappointed by their service at this point, but thought I'd give them ANOTHER chance to redeem themselves, but kindly requested for the sneakers to be prioritised (the least they could do since it was already being delayed for 3 weeks), but my request was ignored (message seen, no reply). On 27 Aug (a whopping 11 days later), again asked for status updates; message seen, no reply.
Got frustrated with waiting so I back to their shop to try to collect them on 30 Sep (28 days since they first started work on it), only to realise that... I had a made wasted trip. Staff told me that they HADN'T started working on it yet (14 days after they said that it'll be done in 3-5...), and told me to come back again in ANOTHER "3-5 days".
So, FINALLY on 6 Sep (an amazing 30+ days since I dropping off my shoes at Shoemo), I finally collected them. End result; damage done was evidently irreversible, no refund was offered. Can't even buy a replacement nownbecause they're alr out of production. RIP.

Summary;
Skills - Evidently, hit and miss, try at your own risk.
Customer service - Poor, messages were ignored or they took ages to reply.
Integrity - Promising customers that service can be delivered within 5-7 days would definitely be a selling point when deciding between other similar cleaning services. But if these deadlines can't be met, (not the only one w such experiences according to other FB reviews), don't deliberately mislead your customers by making empty promises that would ultimately leave them frustrated.
All in all, I'm just sharing an honest but very disappointing and highly unpleasant experience with Shoemo for me personally, because I felt that I've been polite and patient throughout this entire ordeal but it wasn't reciprocated. While I'd like to caveat that this incident could've just been only a one-off experience that unfortunately happened to me, but upon reading more reviews on their social media pages, it seems like I'm not the only one with such negative experiences. Lesson learnt for me is to do more research before trying a product or service that I found online. And with that, I'd like to caution others to only patronise Shoemo (especially with anything limited edition) at your own risk.
Thank You
The way they run the business is NOT professional AT ALL.
I got my shoes cleaned and needed to pick them up, but last week they closed the shop the whole week without any notice through email or whatsapp.
They just updated their business hours on Google
When I visited there, the shop was closed.
Okay fine, maybe I should have double checked Google before collecting my shoes.
What's worse was this.
Today, which is Monday, I checked their opening hours on Google before I go and it says the shop is opened from 12 to 18 so I went there before 12 and waited for more than 30 minutes.
As you can see the photos, the shop was not opened.
I whatsapped the CS and got no reply until now
So I had to go back home again
When can I collect my shoes?
