i had the best experience shopping at chota house with my boyfriend, i believe it was the owner who served us, really friendly and helpful for helping my boyfriend to try on pieces that he think suits him well, really patient while we were considering which item to buy after trying so many of them. and also gave us a bag as a free gift that is greatly appreciated by us 🫶🫶🫶🫶 highly reccomend everyone to check this place out.

Alright, after my experience today at Chota House, I've got a story to tell. When I first entered the store, the guy in "glasses" whom everyone is referring to in their reviews, is actually the designer/store manager. I could tell from his flair that he is an artist. But that's the thing with artists; they're very misunderstood. He was so happy when I was willing to try on many pieces of his clothes as we spoke about the fashion scene here and many other topics. Yet at the same time, he was trying to push items that were not exactly my size, telling me that the sizes are not exactly correctly labelled. Look, it couldn't be that an XS pair of pants and another in XL would be the same size at the waist, no matter how different the design. I appreciate the effort he took to reposition the side buttons on the spot, to tighten the XL piece at the waist for me to try it again. But when I decided not to purchase it as it looked too scrunched up at the waist, he looked really disappointed but there was no way I would buy an XL pair of pants at $299 when I usually wear M/L. There was another issue which I found common in the reviews here. There was no price tag on the items and whatever prices he quoted for each piece was around 20% higher than the default prices listed on their official webpage. No business can do that and still expect their paying customers to accept it. And then, I recalled this incident with my floral artist friend (R) and another friend (E). R advertised on his instagram that he was selling a valentine's day bouquet for $88 but when E wanted to support him a friend, R wanted to charge $108 instead. E got angry and decided not to buy from R. E did not need a discount to support R but couldn't understand why R would charge him higher either. None of us did, lol. Maybe he wanted to throw in something extra or special on top of the original deal, who knows? Thing is, I've worked directly with some artists before and all I can say that is that they are not in touch with certain standards in the real world and are very wrapped in their own mindset and unique worlds. They are just too focused on their craft that they seemed to be totally detached from other aspects in life. Dude from Chota House probably was trying to make up for the rent from having his store in town area but that really shouldn't be propagated to the brand's supporters. Would I support the brand? Yes, I definitely would purchase a piece in time to come but I would just purchase it online. Kinda makes the physical store redundant if they don't fix this pricing issue. To end off, I would say that this local brand is amazing in terms of their design and quality (coming from someone who has bought many different styles of apparel from many brands), and I would definitely want to wear their unique pieces. It's just my 2 cents on what the store can do better in terms of proper pricing & customer service, and also to give people a perspective into how some artists may behave in a peculiar manner that some may find offensive. But that's just how they are and they probably don't realise it or think of it as "bad" to other people to begin with. Don't take it too personally and it's all good as they just want people to like their craft! Cheers for reading this far!

The man with specs was forcing me to buy a shirt. Baited me to buy on the spot with a discount. I asked him how much the discount is and he mention he will only share the price if I'm actually going to make the purchase. I rejected his offer and he still say "you don't want to buy even with a discount?" Not a pleasant experience, can't even browse the clothes without the intention of buying

had a great experience shopping at CHOTA House! I chatted with their customer service before buying, and they were super friendly and helpful. CHOTA House has been around since 2009, and you can really tell the owner puts a lot of heart into the brand-hard to find designer shops like this in Singapore now. Love what I bought and will definitely be back!

Orchard Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine is really really excellent! The front desk is very efficient, helpful and have speedy responses. They provide coffee and gummies while waiting and the whole space is very welcoming & comfortable. Staff were all friendly and professional! Will miss this place

I had torn ligaments in 2 fingers from basketball. Dr Jackson performed a successful surgery and was instrumental in getting my hand back to form. The staff at this clinic were also really nice and supportive throughout! Thank you to Orchard Hand Surgery!

The clinic is very aesthetic. The staff is very efficient and Dr Jackson is very detailed in handling his patient's issue. My son had a speedy recovery and drastic inprovement in his broken finger post his surgery and follow up care.
