The store has some interesting pieces but there is no price tag on them to know how much they are, and when asked about them they don't really give you a proper answer. They are also pushy about buying a piece that your not interested in, and when you are interested in buying they come up with a very ridiculous number and said it's all handmade. Won't be buying there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone

This is my first time here, When i came across your store i really loved the styles that you offer. I am totally and completely satisfied!the fit is great and so are the prices.I will definitely return again.

There is one main reason why my friends and I prefer to only buy from this store online, despite living nearby as well. We hate dealing with the bespectacled ‘manager’ who ignores our repeated (we said it five times)polite requests to browse undisturbed; is pushy and overbearing, generally mars the experience of finding a place with interesting and cool clothing with his off-putting mannerisms. He has no qualms in making your remarks about the clothes seem inconsequential and lame. The worst is that he ‘helicopters’ right behind you, and anything that you may have touched he will straighten it or readjust it ostentatiously, as if your touch has damaged the goods or maybe he is checking to see if we are shoplifting. Please send him to get his customer serving skills updated or just remind him it’s supposed to be a SERVICE, and not an entitlement. It is a pity but no matter how cool the products are - it’s not worth being subjected to this kind of behaviour.

Honestly, I felt like I was wasting every single star here. I visited this place because I like clothes and there were clothes that were made better than other stores. But the manager pretended to be kind and recommended long sleeves as soon as we entered the store, and I said I couldn't wear it because it was too hot for me. Because of the weather. Then he got angry and said it's hot? He began to sarcastically, saying, "I was surprised." We were uncomfortable, but we said thank you and went out, and he showed an unpleasant attitude and ignored it. I think this store has a lot of problems. Why doesn't anyone write this? The moment you talk about your mind their attitude will be changes suddenly like aggressive. It is the most beggarly service attitude I have ever experienced.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Disgusting customer service. Was treated with BLACK FACE and appalling attitude when I tried on and find that it doesn't fit me. Eh, you know how to run business or not? Srsly, treat your customers with respect first can? My coin is too good for this shop. Highly NOT recommended. yucks.

i had the best experience shopping at chota house with my boyfriend, i believe it was the owner who served us, really friendly and helpful for helping my boyfriend to try on pieces that he think suits him well, really patient while we were considering which item to buy after trying so many of them. and also gave us a bag as a free gift that is greatly appreciated by us 🫶🫶🫶🫶 highly reccomend everyone to check this place out.

I got recommended by one of my friend. He saw it online and the merchandise looks great. So i went there to get a feel of the fabrics, probably get one item if any interest and tried to snap few photos and guess what the staff wearing glasses with a beard refrain me taking photos, he sarcastically said you can see it on online actually. Firstly, i came here for a purpose, to get a feel of the product and snap few shots for my friend who recommended me at this place. Moving on, my friend tried few of their rings which to me it's nothing nice, as soon as we wanted to leave my friend thanked him for his time to served us but guess what, that particular bearded wearing glasses staff ignore him. Well i didnt thanked him at all due to his arrogant and unprofessional sarcastic service. Will never come back here again.

Great, quality products that are handmade and rare. Rare meaning if you don't buy it and come back another day, it might be gone and you might have to wait some time for it. My 2-cents: Best to come during off-peak period so that you don't have to queue so long!

Inconsistent with their pricing. I was charged more when purchased at Boutique Fair, now there is so much discount going on? It’s unethical. No wonder they are closing down, unethical practice. Oh wait, they have closed down. For those who are thinking about buying from them, please reconsider and support other local brands. Literally ridiculous and unprofessional services in store and online, they literally look at you as though annoyed you stepped into the store, you’re a business aren’t you? Why are you annoyed when there are potential customers? Don’t even bother making rapport. Not worth the $. No customer recovery too when cheated customers, no offence even if it’s handmade you can find better brands that do connect with you. Don’t bother running a business please, keep the “handmade” to yourself if people can’t even touch or see them physically. Ridiculous And please don’t create fake accounts for people just to up your ratings lah, rubbish.

"Our pieces are handmade. If you want Zara prices then go to Zara." - Chota House sales personnel. Snobbish service staff criticised by budget when I simply said "I wish this piece was slightly cheaper". I wasn't looking for a further discount. I was simply saying it is out of my budget. I thought it would be worth checking out the sales and getting a feel of the pieces, but I was wrong. The pushy salesman was not very diplomatic or helpful at all. He was visibly irritated when we decided not to buy anything. We might have stayed a little longer and thoroughly considered buying something if the staff was not so overbearing. Not a fun experience. Would not come back.
