Visited the Takashimaya outlet on Sun afternoon (30 Nov). Few points below explaining why we are unlikely to visit this outlet again in the short run.
My wife was indecisive and this resulted in the salesperson making a few trips behind to retrieve the jewellery. One time when he was going behind, he told his colleague that we were making him "走上走下” = we are inconveniencing him.
-Talked in a dismissive tone - my guess is because we did not dress wealthy.
-Asked about the prices of a few items and he said the prices are exactly the same as the prices shown online. Sorry, we do not have perfect memory.
-I asked for his name card before we left so that we could look for him next week when we make the purchase and he rejected and said we could look for any of his colleagues + the items we are purchasing are small items (our budget for 四点金 was not big but also not small).
Given the snobby customer service, we will be visiting other VCA outlets / other brands.

Walked into nothing but rudeness at this boutique. Eliz gave me that impression that was not only dismissive but also entirely at odds within the standards of service I expected.

I took my 2 20 motif necklaces and 5 motif bracelet (worth ~73,000 SGD) to be cleaned at 9pm this evening, and was met with 0 customer service and a rude attitude by the Chinese lady staff serving me. Was not offered a seat, let alone some water or a coffee. I asked her to provide me with a pouch for the items as I did not want to wear them immediately after, to which she replied ‘we don’t provide pouches’. I know this not to be true, having frequented other VCA boutiques in Singapore (MBS, ION), where I am ALWAYS offered a pouch to store the jewelry upon collection. As a luxury boutique, I expect a luxury experience even if I am not buying a new piece at that particular time.

Horrible experience by the sales named Desmond. No service No smile. Don't even bother to wrap my case into a proper box. Never wore glove when handling my ring. U can check cctv. 21jul24 720pm. Brushed us off like a begger. Just because you're covering for another sa. That doesn't mean u can be so rude.

I was served by the sa Gabrielle Lim, who is very nice and attentive. I bought the 10 motifs onyx which is availabe at the store. This is the oldest VCA store in SG. The small bottle of champagne was a gift from VCA.

Saw queue the other day and didn't go in. The day we went again, there wasn't any queue and we went in to look for vintage alhambra pendant, it was beautiful piece but a bit small. The magic one was just nice size and also a beautiful piece. The color that we wanted wasn't available at that time.
The sales associate was friendly to attend to our queries but not enough engaging. Went to purchase at Ion Orchard outlet instead.
