TORI-Q at Paragon specialises in Japanese yakitori, bringing the art of grilled skewers to Singapore heart of Orchard Road. The restaurant offers an extensive menu of skewers featuring various cuts of chicken and other ingredients, all grilled to perfection over charcoal to achieve the characteristic smoky flavour and crispy exterior that defines great yakitori. What makes TORI-Q special is its focus on this specialised Japanese cuisine, allowing customers to experience the full range of flavours and textures that make yakitori a beloved part of Japanese izakaya culture.
The menu includes classic yakitori options like thigh, skin, liver, and cartilage, alongside more adventurous cuts that introduce diners to the full spectrum of Japanese skewer culture. Each skewer is carefully prepared and grilled to order, seasoned with either tare sauce or simple salt depending on the ingredient, allowing the natural flavours of high-quality poultry to shine through. The restaurant also offers complementary dishes like rice bowls and sides that complete the meal.

At first I noticed that the food handlers were touching the food boxes and cashiering without washing hands or sanitizing ….
Then I had an upset stomach after consuming the food.
I found that they store their rice next to the bin. Like literally blocking the bin. If that’s not gross I don’t know what is ….
I would caution against consuming from this establishment unless you have a strong stomach.

Cramped outlet with only a few seats. The rice was dry. The kaarage was dry and stale. I am not joking when i say that the frozen kaarage i have at home is juicier and tastier than the kaarage here. Absolutely terrible food for the price point.

Their scan to pay, paynow, doesn’t work. SGQR doesn’t work. And the staff was touching my phone and going through my bank app without my permission and seen my personal information and account balances.
Never coming back here again

My favorite place to eat rice with pork satay at Paragon. Even though the place is small and the seating is in the corner, it became my hidden spot to eat when I was alone. The best one is tontoro, which often runs out. And the jumbo sausage is really delicious. Don't forget to ask them to add extra sauce.

The curry actually works! Get a piece of Katsu anything and pour the curry over it and the rice. Turns your regular Tori-Q rice box into curry rice box. Tasty stuff. Shiok!
Back again with the curry sauce. Shiok.

TORI-Q have several outlets in Singapore. It is a Japanese yakitori restaurant. The restaurant has several tables but clients take away the food. It could be compared as Japanese street food. The menu is based on several choices of sticks (between different pieces of pork, chicken or sausage). You could have also a bento box with rice included if you order at least 4 sticks.
Try 2-3 items and really enjoy the chicken Goyza. The particularity is also the sauce.
To resume It is good, fast and not expensive.

My favourite yakitori stall. I just went and bought few yakitori for bites. Their chicken skin was crispy and good. I like the bacon asparagus as well.
Usually I would order with rice for lunch or finner, this time only bites. Their rice was good. One time, I bought the rice and cooked at home.
There are few seats inside to dine-in and once go in there are 2 more seats which weren't really visible from outside.
