Paris Van Java operates on Orchard Road, likely bringing Indonesian cafe culture inspired by Bandung to Singapore. The name references Paris Van Java, a nickname for Bandung, Indonesia, given during Dutch colonial times for its European-style architecture and cafes. This cultural reference suggests a cafe concept that blends Indonesian flavours and hospitality with contemporary cafe aesthetics, appealing to Indonesian communities and cafe enthusiasts seeking distinctive experiences beyond mainstream chains.
The cafe likely serves Indonesian coffee preparations, traditional snacks, and possibly fusion items that bridge Indonesian ingredients with modern cafe culture. Bandung, known for its cafe scene and creative culture, has influenced Indonesian cafe trends that blend traditional elements with contemporary presentation. The cafe may offer signature Indonesian beverages like es cendol, bandrek, or various kopi preparations alongside Western-style coffee drinks and pastries with Indonesian twists.
Located on Orchard Road, Paris Van Java benefits from excellent accessibility and positioning within Singapore's main shopping district where cafe culture thrives. The cafe serves Indonesian expatriates seeking familiar cafe experiences from home alongside curious customers exploring Indonesian cafe culture. Whether customers want quality coffee with Indonesian character, traditional Indonesian snacks, or simply seek cafe environments with cultural distinctiveness, establishments like Paris Van Java provide alternatives to the ubiquitous international cafe chains. The Orchard Road location makes it convenient for shoppers and workers to experience Indonesian-inspired cafe culture whilst exploring the shopping district.

Paris Van Java @ Lucky Plaza offers a comfortable and spacious dining environment, but the food experience was a bit underwhelming.
The taste of the beef rendang was forgettable & tough, even after a replacement.
However the grilled chicken tasted decent especially with their flavorful and fresh Indonesian sambal.
Prices are on the higher side, and with better, more affordable Indonesian options in the vicinity it’s unlikely I’d come back.
An okay spot, but not a place where it's food would tempt you to return.

i order Soto betawi, every meat bite was very juicy and tender. The broth has unique taste, combine with melinjo cracker and rice, was soo yumm. And nasi goreng kambing was so good too. I really enjoy the aroma, spice, texture, and the meat bite, definitely would come back for this menu.
For drink, I enjoy hot cafe latte well combined with home made cookies.
The atmosphere was so warm, perfect place for casual meal with family, friends, or colleagues.

Tried Paris Van Java at Lucky Plaza and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. I ordered the ayam goreng balado, rendang, pecel, and batagor (Indonesian dumplings) — all very delicious.
The food came all at once, which was convenient. It was my first time trying batagor, and I really enjoyed it. If I had one small wish, it would be for the sambal to be a notch spicier. Other than that, everything hit the spot. Will definitely return!

Had a wonderful meal at Paris Van Java recently and I highly recommend their Nasi Goreng Kambing. The rice has a lovely taste of wok hei and the lamb is very tender and flavourful. It also comes with the right amount of spice to ensure there's still a kick. The keropok and crunchy veggies give it a nice variety of textures as well. The lemonade is quite refreshing tho I do find its on the more sour side, so it's something of an acquired taste.

One of fav Indonesia restaurants in Orchard. The place is cozy compared to
Other restaurant in Lucky Plaza. My fav is Nasi goreng Kambing. The noodle is nice but the meatball is just average. I would highly recommended all type of nasi goreng in here.
