The Mantou chilli crab sauce while palatable was way too sparing on the sauce. When asked why so little is provided, counter sales replied that only a spoonful is to be given. This is literally a table spoon meant to lightly coat 4 reasonably sized Mantou. So don’t expect any degree of soaking in the chilli crab sauce which is more sambal chilli-like than chilli crab like. Still tasted acceptable but to be sooo stingy on the sauce quantity just destroys the product and any satisfaction that you would expect from this. Just sooo disappointing!! A National Day disgrace from a longstanding local brand. Save your $4 for 2 curry puffs instead, I would strongly recommend!!

Visited at 850pm on 11 Oct 2025 which was obviously within their operating hour but the lazy worker insisted that the outlet closes at 830pm. Furthermore, there are still some leftover items which can be sold but again worker proved to be lazy and disregard business opportunities.

Like what the others have said, the aunty there is so rude. Brought $8.20 items ad give $9, the malay auntie ask got 20cents. I say dont have. She says 20cents also dont have, kajiao lah! Hey, I go there and buy food and paid for it. Not go there take free food or order then refused to pay, what and when did I kajiao u? I work nearby n probably have to stop buying there. So sick of their attitude

While Old Chang Kee is traditionally famous and popular for its curry puff, my family and I think that the sesame balls at Old Chang Kee are simply the best - especially the black sesame ball.

The experience at Old Chang Kee (OCK) is consistently reliable across the island. If it’s your first time, the sheer variety of fried snacks on display can be overwhelming, especially with people queuing behind you. For a guaranteed good bite, stick to what they're famous for: the Curry-O curry puffs. Overall, it's a good place for a predictable fried snack.

Located in the food court area on the basement floor; the shop offers only takeaways for their ready-to-eat sticks. Tried several of them; was not that impressed afterall so I would not say it is a must try item out of all the Singaporean food and snacks.

Located at B1 of Paragon, OCK as I've reviewed before its a staple for any of the local small bites and tasty finger foods but what's special about this Paragon one (as compared to others like the ones located at ION or Far East) is that at this outlet they serve cooked mains! The mains include selections like $2 ala carte Bee Hoon, Curry Chicken, Dry Mee Siam and $3.50 Nasi Lemak (with pop-corn chicken and fried hard boiled egg with coconut rice). The price for the Nasi Lemak for example is unbeatable for a lunch option. Albeit the sides are a lot lesser than the other Nasi Lemak in the area eg. Lucky Plaza but you can always add on (I added the Prawn nuggets) and it still totals up to less than $6.00 which is below the average for a meal option in town area. Aunties are all warm and friendly and I think because they also know we are the poor corporate zombies within the area they are also very sweet to us. A simple 5 minutes exchange but such a warm engagement that makes the lunch start off well <3
