The foundation of IPPUDOs reputation rests on their rich pork broth, simmered for hours to achieve the perfect harmony of creaminess and depth that defines proper tonkotsu ramen. The classic offerings include Shiromaru Motoaji, their original creamy tonkotsu broth; Akamaru Shinaji Ramen, where aromatic garlic oil takes center stage; Karaka-Men Ramen, topped with spicy minced meat for tongue-tingling satisfaction; and Kuro Ramen, a Singapore exclusive crowned with pork belly chashu.
In late August 2025, IPPUDO launched IPPUDO Beyond at this same Mandarin Gallery location, reimagining the dining experience by enhancing classic Hakata-style ramen while introducing Japanese tapas, appetizers, and mains. This evolution includes new creations like Daichi Miso Ramen, which combines four different miso varieties into a tonkotsu soup base, demonstrating IPPUDOs commitment to innovation while respecting tradition.

Dried flying fish is synonymous with the soup stock in the Kyushu area, hometown of IPPUDO. Made in Nagasaki, it presents a deep and refreshing flavour as a result of a process of slowly baking it with charcoal. In Kyushu, it is commonly used in a wide range of soup such as hot pot and udon noodles.

Incredible food and atmosphere. Their ramen is perfect, nothing could have made it better.
The Miso Tartar on the other hand, I didn’t really enjoy it because it had a stronger Wasabi flavour which I am not a fan of. I wouldn’t recommend that to someone who does like Wasabi or looking for something fresh tasting, as this dish is quite heavily seasoned.
Do note that they do not have the Bonito based ramen (my go to order) which is available at other Ippudo outlets (eg. Westgate, Star Vista,etc.).
10/10 ramen tho, would come back again. Dare I say it’s the best ramen in Singapore.

We always had great Ramens here, and the quality is still there.
This specific branch has a nice atmosphere and some nice appetizers and desserts too.
The miso ramen was great and we tried both the spicy and non spicy version.
The salmon rolls were really nice too for the appetizer.
Staffs are friendly and professional too.

One of my favorite ramen place in Singapore. I loved the Bonito Tonkotsu Ramen, but it seems its not in the menu anymore.
I tried the Volcano ramen recently and its pretty good.
Nonetheless, I still miss the deep smokey flavored Bonito Tonkotsu Ramen.
Overall, the food was still good. And I still love the vibe and texture of the noodles here above any other Ippudo in Singapore.

I enjoyed one of the best ramen soups I've ever tasted at this restaurant. Tucked away in a simple yet elegant space, the decor offers a comfortable dining experience. While the menu has a variety of dishes, I highly recommend choosing one of the three ramen options. Each bowl features a rich, scrumptious broth and incredibly tender meat—a true pleasure for your palate. This place is warmly recommended.
