Dr Wong May Ling Child & Cardiology Practice at Paragon Medical #07-10 delivers pediatric cardiac care uniquely combining general pediatrics with cardiology subspecialization, providing on-site diagnostics including ECG, echocardiograms, Holter monitors, and stress tests. Dr Wong's credentials include NUS degree, Masters in Pediatrics, and 2 years advanced training at Hospital for Sick Children Toronto—internationally recognized pediatric cardiac centre—demonstrating specialized expertise in heart conditions affecting children.
Pediatric cardiology addresses congenital heart defects present at birth, acquired heart conditions developing during childhood, arrhythmias causing irregular heartbeats, murmurs requiring evaluation, and cardiac aspects of systemic conditions. Many children with heart conditions require lifelong monitoring and management as they grow, making specialized pediatric cardiac care essential. On-site diagnostic capabilities enable immediate assessment rather than referring for external testing—ECG records electrical activity, echocardiograms visualize heart structure and function through ultrasound, Holter monitors track heart rhythms over 24 hours, and stress tests assess cardiac function during exercise. Operating Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, Saturday 8:30am-1pm. Emergency contact: +65 6535 8833. The clinic serves children with diagnosed cardiac conditions, those requiring evaluation of murmurs or symptoms, and general pediatric needs.

my grand daughter was having very high fever of 40 degrees and was told to come down to see her in the late afternoon on that day. When we got there, she informed us that she has rush off for an urgent meeting and she refused to see my grand daughter despite us pleading with her to see my grand daughter since we had already arrived. such attitude in doctors are a definite no no and i would not recommend anyone to her clinic.

On Wednesday, my 5 months old baby was diagnosed with a very serious heart condition in kk. We searched everywhere to find the most trusted cardiologist for a second opinion and found very good review on Google for this clinic. In the morning, my husband rushed down to kk to retrieve the medical report, hoping that we will find some light at the end of the dark tunnel.
We went down to the clinic and had the consultation by Dr Wong, she checked the medical history of my baby and chit chat about the condition which he's having. To my surprise, she didn't even take a look at the medical report from KK, neither explain to us about the findings, but went on and introduced about all the vitamins my baby needs to take to build up his immunity.
With the condition that my baby is having, I would feel more grateful if she could take a look at the medical report and explained to us what is her view and knowledge on that instead of marketing for her vitamins. She then ordered an echo again on my baby which I felt uncomfortable to go ahead.
The overall experience was totally disappointed and I did not get any useful medical advice for my baby's condition.

I would like to highly recommend Dr. Wong. She is professional, efficient, and thorough with her checks. Once, our child needed to be hospitalized urgently, and there wasn’t a bed available from the attending doctors at A&E. Dr. Wong stepped in and managed to get everything settled for us within the next hour. Her calm and reassuring demeanor helped ease our anxiety during a very stressful time. She consistently follows up with us to ensure our child is recovering well. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and compassionate care. Dr. Wong truly goes above and beyond for her patients.

Dr. Wong is front of mind for us when it comes to our baby, she is thoughtful, kind and amazingly reassuring. During our consultations, she's a great listener and takes into consideration our circumstances and provides us with well rounded and practical advice. What we love about Dr. Wong is her forward thinking, she provides tips/advice on next best steps and does the thinking for us; especially when we need it most when we were all sick as a family. E.g. where to go after hours for emergency, preparing and planning our medicine supply for when we are migrating overseas.
Dr. Wong is also very dedicated and proactively follows up on our baby as well. Another bonus is that her team is readily available to assist with playtime during a consult, allowing us to fully focus.
Overall, we are super grateful to have met Dr. Wong and highly recommend her service.
