Food is bad. Chicken has no taste and was so small for an extravagant price. They even forgot to give us our abalone for our 'Buddha jumps the wall' soup! Called over and they simply said if we order again at their place then they will give us what we paid for - are you kidding? It was SGD68 and we paid for it!!! Too expensive and not worth it. Spent SGD400+ for low quality food (4pax). Don't deserve your Michelin star.

Disappointed. Was buying my friends dinner. They are foreigners. Serving is very slow. And the person told us watermelon with lime very nice. It's super sour. All the guests could not drink it. Recommended very expensive dishes and we waited very long for our meals. Never coming back again as guests were hungry and no one was available to even take bowls for us. My guest has to help himself. If there is zero for service I will give 0. And paid for an expensive meal with utterly poor service. Bill for four pax was more than $300. And we only ordered 5 dishes. Oh yah staff did not even clean her hands after clearing table next to us. Terrible failure in hygiene. If not for the fact that I am dining with foreigners I will lodge a complaint on the spot. To me this restaurant has failed terribly.

We had a satisfying birthday meal at Crystal Jade Palace last week. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Some courses were so attractively presented they elicited a few wow's. Portion sizes overall were good, and the dishes were well seasoned and executed. Thank you, manager Jacky, Yoyo and in particular, supervisor Candy Jiang, for your friendly, attentive and detailed service!
Some highlights:
- crispy roast pork: nice crackling skin and despite the layer of fat, did not taste greasy. cute presentation!
- ham sui gok (fried glutinous rice dumpling): juicy filling inside a chewy fried dough. lovely plating.
- black truffle roast duck: generous truffle seasoning, aromatic and yummy.
- steamed soon hock: nicely steamed, tender and tasty.
- seafood mee sua: light but flavourful, with an unexpected layer of soft steamed goodness at the bottom that gives the dish good contrasting textures.

4.5/5 My family, along with our extended family, has frequented Crystal Jade Palace numerous times in the past, although it had been a while since our last visit. We returned a few months ago to celebrate my sibling's birthday. The food quality remained high, and the standards were consistently maintained. The dim sums and appetizer we ordered were all well executed and very delicious. The beggar chicken had a intense umami flavor and was very tasty and appetizing, though I am not really sure how an authentic version should taste like. The minced shrimp patties with crab roe was quite pleasing and the stir-fried French beans was flavourful.
However, the baked live prawns with spring onion and ginger were disappointing. The dish had too much gravy, and the gravy tasted rather flat and insipid, without the expected flavors of spring onion and ginger. The fresh prawns were the only redeeming aspect, but I would rate this dish 2/5. The complimentary birthday buns were a thoughtful gesture from the restaurant.

This is probably the best dim sum restaurant in Singapore. Restaurant ambience, food quality, service are all good. Ordered lava bun, har gow, beef brisket noodles, rice roll, dumpling soup, char siew bun, deep fried eggplant with cereal. Most are so delicious esp the char siew bun, jar gow, and lava bun, except 1) the eggplant tastes just like any deep fried food 2) the cucumber pickle is really cucumber in some soy sauce 3) the brisket noodles can be abit more springy. Really like the aunties who served us as they are all so attentive and friendly. Lastly, the toilet is not up to par for such a nice restaurant. I have to go to the Takashimaya toilet instead. Nevertheless Iโll still go again for their food, IMO itโs the best dim sum restaurant in sg.
Churrasco Phuket Steakhouse
Family Dim Sum lunch at this long term Cantonese restaurant. Even so being part of a large chain, they convince with professionally prepared authentic food and traditional style service. Quality like this commands its price, so expect to pay well for it.

Arrived there at 6.00pm .. after shopping in the guardian..
I saw this restaurant in front of the drugstore. My stomach was growling asking to be fed.
Decided to go in without reservation, and checked the menu.
To me the food was so so ... average. I was expecting more than that actually. But it's okay, at least my tummy was happy.
I ordered baked bbq pie and shrimp noodle.
When i left the restaurant, the place was starting full, so it is recommended to make a reservation.
