café Q classified at Ngee Ann City transports visitors to a whimsical pink floral wonderland, making it one of Orchard Road's most Instagrammable dining destinations. Located in Takashimaya Shopping Centre, this baby-pink themed café surrounds diners with beautiful floral decorations that create an enchanted oasis atmosphere perfect for social media-worthy moments.
Beyond its photogenic interior, café Q classified delivers on culinary substance with an eclectic menu that spans local, Japanese, and European dishes. The restaurant has gained particular acclaim for their Dutch Baby Pancakes – fluffy, oversized pancakes that come in various sweet and savoury combinations. The Red Ruby Coconut Ice Cream version is a signature creation that combines visual appeal with authentic Thai-inspired flavours.
The comprehensive menu features all-day breakfast options, Asian-Western fusion dishes, Korean kroffles (croissant waffles), sandwiches, salads, and mains ranging from 8 to 8. The "Q Famous Truffle Lobsterwich" demonstrates the kitchen's ambition to create elevated comfort food that justifies its price through quality ingredients and skilled preparation.
What makes café Q classified special is its commitment to creating a complete sensory experience. The whimsical pink floral decor isn't just a gimmick – it's carefully designed to transport diners away from the shopping mall bustle into a dreamy, feminine space. Whether you're meeting friends for brunch, celebrating a special occasion, or simply seeking a meal that's as visually appealing as it is delicious, this café delivers on both aesthetics and flavour.
Do not try the dutch pancake and snack bites. Taste and quality sucks. Not worth the price to try this. Chicken breast tasted cold and pancake tasted bitter. It feels like they prepared all beforehand and tried their best to heat up. I don’t understand why they even told me to be careful of the pancake being too hot when its not even warm.

The café has very beautiful decorations, making it a great spot for photos and birthday celebrations. The food and drinks are also nice. However, when I visited last Sunday, I was very disappointed with the customer service. When serving our order, the male staff placed the food on the table in a careless and disrespectful way, which made us feel unwelcome. It left such a bad impression that we didn’t feel like ordering more.
Although I really liked the café’s decoration and atmosphere, the extremely poor attitude and unprofessional behavior of the staff made me decide not to return

Review for Q Classified Café (Takashimaya):
I’ve always enjoyed dining at Q Classified — the ambience is lovely, the food consistently good, and the staff have been friendly on my past visits. In particular, Irene was always so warm and thoughtful; she even offered to take photos for us previously.
However, my most recent visit a few days ago (my 4th time) was a little disappointing. I had recommended this café to my friends for our catch-up, and they were excited to take some photos together as they found the place beautiful. Unfortunately, when we asked the staff Mr. Dilip for help with a group photo, he seemed rather unwilling. We asked a few times and were told to “wait” each time, even after he had served our food. We then approached another staff Ms. Karam, who also replied, “wait.”
What made it more disappointing was that the café was not even crowded — there were fewer than ten customers including us. As we wanted to capture a group photo with our food before eating, we asked again, but Mr. Dilip reluctantly agreed and made a sarcastic remark: “You all didn’t bring your photographer ah?” This response felt rude and uncalled for, leaving us a bit taken aback.
Another incident that surprised us was when one of my friends had finished her Hand Smashed Lemonade, and we requested a plain water top-up in the same glass. Mr. Dilip informed us there would be a $1 charge for the water, which seemed rather unusual for a café of this standard, especially since it was just plain water.
It was disappointing and a huge contrast from the warm service I’ve experienced before. I truly hope the management will look into these issues and continue to uphold the café’s usual standard of friendly, welcoming service that regular customers have come to appreciate.

First of all, we ordered a strawberry and mango pancake.
The mango topping was rotten and we had raised this issue to their manager (i assume?) but they don’t take it serious and questioned us.
We request them to try but they refuse and mention that if the mango is spoiled just put aside, they will give us few strawberries instead.
I think the service is bad and the food is also not worth the price.

Such a beautifully decorated cafe! The food is delicious. My fav is the barramundi fish soup with noodles but today, I decided to try the fish porridge. Also delicious! Tried quite a few of their items over the years and the food does not disappoint. Service is always warm and friendly from Irene, Dilip, Kara and other ladies behind the counter. Price is very reasonable as well (compared to lunch at Paul's).

Overall, food was good and we had tuna salad which was pleasant. The bacon carbonara was hearty and the fish and chips were crispy and delicious.
what’s outstanding was the great service received from Irene- 5 stars for her.

If you are always posting on instagram, this cafe is for you! Beautiful cafe to take lots of insta pics, very the envy of your followers.
Food wise ok, taste certainly up to standard for the price. The grilled chicken sandwich is a little tough in my opinion and the black forest cake a bit “old” - perhaps should change supplier.
Otherwise, fries arre flavoured well and crispy, lor bak png is soft and yummy.
We spent about SGD56 for 2 sets of “value lunch”.

Hidden Gem in Takashimaya…
Located on Level 3 of Takashimaya, Cafe Q Classified is truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful cafés I’ve come across in Singapore. The calm and quiet ambiance instantly helps you relax and enjoy your time , perfect for a cozy break in the middle of Orchard Road’s hustle.
What made our visit extra special was the exceptional service. A staff member named Yuonne stood out with her warm and welcoming nature. She went above and beyond to help us choose from the menu, and even happily took plenty of photos for us – something that felt genuinely rare and kind. Thanks to her, we had such an enjoyable and memorable experience.
The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety to choose from. Everything we tried was full of flavor, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and location.
Whether you’re looking for a peaceful café to unwind, a spot to catch up with friends, or even host a small birthday celebration, Cafe Q Classified is a must-visit when you’re in Singapore. Highly recommended.
