I went to eat many times everything is fine and today 09/08 when I taking my food the lady in the counter she didn’t send me the food .but she trying to give her 2 friends from Philippine first than me ..I told her I paid first why u give them friends first ..,she didn’t answer and ask me to wait …this kind of worker lady sure business will be down ..I won’t come to eat again …..bye pepper lunch express from now really horrible staff

No comments. Did the cook kept the meat that I paid for , so he can cook them for himself ?

Came here around 1230pm on June 7th. Food here is decent. Aside from the presence of a crazy foreigner lady customer berating a worker for not being able to speak mandarin (all because she didn’t understand the queue system), everything else was ok. Singapore is a multi ethnic country so let’s continue to keep it that way 🥰

Overall, food taste is good, and not pertaining to any outlets, but I noticed that generally the beef portion of beef pepper rice has shrunked.

it is 4 in tge afternoon where theres no people and theres a guy with a cap which keepsstaying inside the kitchen when called him he stared at me like he has a problem with me hello? pepperlunch i am a customer. how can u treat customers with such rude attitude? who wants to pay to eat like that such a disappointment to the pepper lunch name this guy with the cap should be under reveiw

Ive been eating here but today, had one of my not so good experience. Look at my order, does it look like double beef? Usually in Novena and orchard, it is not like this. So small serving.

I had a very disappointing experience during my visit to Pepper Lunch today. A female Chinese staff member wearing glasses was extremely rude in her behavior. She placed the food on the table very roughly—not once, but twice. I was genuinely shocked, and she didn’t even offer an apology. What made it worse was that the food was extremely hot. Handling it so carelessly was not only disrespectful but also potentially dangerous. As a paying customer, I believe it is only fair to expect respectful and courteous service. This kind of attitude is unacceptable and reflects poorly. I hope the management takes this seriously and provides proper training to the staff to ensure they treat customers with professionalism and care. Thank you.

Ordered at 4pm, 1 portion of XL Beef Pepper Rice for takeaway. Staff has an attitude issue where he just blankly stared at you and does not talk at all. This “XL Portion” seems to be regular Beef Pepper Rice portion as well. Money wasted.

Terrible experience, I came at 8 and the female staff seemed really unhappy with taking my order. Me and my friend placed our order and the food was prepared poorly, the rice had nothing to it, they don't even have sauces so essentially it's just peppery hot white rice with little to no taste. At least they could've told us that they ran out of sauces before taking our order since that would obviously affect the taste.

Ordered the beef pepper lunch with set add on, the lady told me the set came with mashed potato that’s why I added on the set. After I paid, She served me corn instead because they “ran out”. My friend ordered the beef steak cubes afterwards and she had mashed potato. I went back to ask why there were still mashed potatoes she said “oh it’s reserved for that meal only”. Shouldn’t you have informed me that you were out of mashed potatoes BEFORE I paid for it? Ridiculous service isn’t it- to be refused what I paid for because they wanted to reserve it for other meals unsold. Never coming again
