Terrible experience, I came at 8 and the female staff seemed really unhappy with taking my order. Me and my friend placed our order and the food was prepared poorly, the rice had nothing to it, they don't even have sauces so essentially it's just peppery hot white rice with little to no taste. At least they could've told us that they ran out of sauces before taking our order since that would obviously affect the taste.

Ordered at 4pm, 1 portion of XL Beef Pepper Rice for takeaway. Staff has an attitude issue where he just blankly stared at you and does not talk at all. This “XL Portion” seems to be regular Beef Pepper Rice portion as well. Money wasted.

I had a very disappointing experience during my visit to Pepper Lunch today. A female Chinese staff member wearing glasses was extremely rude in her behavior. She placed the food on the table very roughly—not once, but twice. I was genuinely shocked, and she didn’t even offer an apology. What made it worse was that the food was extremely hot. Handling it so carelessly was not only disrespectful but also potentially dangerous. As a paying customer, I believe it is only fair to expect respectful and courteous service. This kind of attitude is unacceptable and reflects poorly. I hope the management takes this seriously and provides proper training to the staff to ensure they treat customers with professionalism and care. Thank you.

While ordering food, the cook/counter staff was rude by giving us an unwelcoming and impatient face. Food portion was small as well, ordered trio pepper rice and i was only given 4 chicken cubes, 3 salmon slices, 3 slices of beef that’s the same size of a torn piece of bacon, miso soup had little to no taste and mashed potato had so little sauce to the point where i’d rather they don’t put any sauce. Will never eat from here if i see the same person again.

I had such a great dining experience at Pepper Lunch 313 Somerset! The food was served sizzling hot and full of flavor — I especially loved how fresh and juicy the meat was, and being able to cook it to my own preference made it extra fun. The female staff is Menchie she were very friendly, attentive, and quick with service, even during the busy hours. The place was clean and comfortable, perfect for both a quick meal or a casual dine-in. Definitely one of my favorite spots whenever I’m craving Pepper Lunch. Highly recommend!

Overall, food taste is good, and not pertaining to any outlets, but I noticed that generally the beef portion of beef pepper rice has shrunked.

Came here around 1230pm on June 7th. Food here is decent. Aside from the presence of a crazy foreigner lady customer berating a worker for not being able to speak mandarin (all because she didn’t understand the queue system), everything else was ok. Singapore is a multi ethnic country so let’s continue to keep it that way 🥰
