Long time never been here. The Grand Cathay very huge and seats comfortable. Sound effects good.

Always a place that i choose because its at town..accesible to all my friends to come. I went here to watch Raya, the theater quite empty .

Last day of operations falls on 26 June (Sunday) - would definitely miss this place! Pretty huge premises given that it occupies the top 2 floors of the mall. Long queues on weekends but the staff are generally still friendly when attending to movie-goers. Saw that there were some companies that brought their staff to watch a movie during the last 2 weekend. Thank you for the memories!

I’m on a quest to find the best cinemas in Singapore to watch movies. The Grand Cathay (Hall 1) is one of the largest halls in Singapore. Be sure to book a movie that is screening in Hall 1 if you want to experience the Grand Cathay. It truly is very huge and feels extremely spacious. The row that I sat at, row P, has a lot of leg room in front. I would say that this is the best row given the great leg room. It is also a nice distance from the screen. I prefer seats that are closer to the screen as there is a greater feeling of immersion in the movie. The ticket redemption process is also easy and fuss free. The queues move quite fast here. The only drawback for this cinema is that I feel that the volume is a little lower compared to some other cinema halls of similar size. GV Grand, GV Max has higher volume which is perfect for action movies. I would suggest for Cathay to increase the volume for this cinema hall for a fuller movie experience. Nonetheless, this is the best Cathay hall to go to for your movie fix!

Food is alright but terrible service. Staff/cook is rude and not welcoming.

It's my first time to visit this salon and I was impressed with the service. Was bit late for my appointment but they were still kind to accommodate me. My hairstylist Director Benson offered me with tea and started with measuring my facial features that would fit my haircut. I enjoyed the 10min scalp massage inclusives as well. He really did take his time to cut and style my hair. Love my layers! Definitely a deserving treat for myself.. Thank you to this wonderful team!

My mum and sister both had their hair done by Maggie and shared such positive experiences, so I decided to try her myself—and my only regret is not going to her earlier! I shared what I wanted for my hair, and she carefully measured my face and gave professional suggestions on what would suit me best. She clearly knows the outcome she’s aiming for, which is extremely important as it builds trust and makes you feel safe leaving the makeover in her hands. She took her time with the cut and worked very meticulously. And I absolutely loved the result! It truly changed how I look, and people complimented me instantly when they saw me. Honestly, the service prices are very reasonable considering the skill and effort involved. I would definitely recommend Maggie and am so glad to have found a hairstylist I’ll be returning to in the future!

I had my hair done by Benson at Be U Hair (Centrepoint) and I can’t recommend him enough! He’s very friendly, patient, and gives honest advice on what hairstyle suits you best, no hard selling at all. You can tell he really cares about helping you look good and feel confident, not just pushing services. I left the salon feeling refreshed and happy with my new look. Thank you Benson!
