Puncak household name in far east plaza. had the honey dew chicken noodle, roast chicken was uniquely puncak-licious. Likely roasted with honeydew sweetness. Noodle was springy, blends well with the sweet sauce, more sweet sauce even better. Packed every day. girl server was hardworking courteous good service. small wanton was flavorful crunchy, fillingly meaty. Probably one of the best fried wanton i had in the past 20 years. kept the nostalgic essence in it. no wonder every table had one plate of wanton. salted egg chicken sauce nice more smooth type. total around $20+ affordable meal.

We usually indulge in comforting, straightforward fare at the New Snack Station. However, we've always been intrigued by the bustling Malay Tze Char store next door. Today, we decided to break our routine and give it a try. We opted for some of our favourite dishes: sotong okra salad with chinchalok sauce, hot plate beef with ginger & onions, and mee goreng with "extra protein" (translation: more ingredients!). Each dish was satisfying, and we were especially impressed by the flavorful sotong salad – it was fantastic!

The beef char siew noodles (honeydew sauce) was a bit too sweet and had no honeydew taste. The beef char siew was reasonably tender but did not taste like char siew.

Tried honey dew chicken noodle. Overall great! But the ordering system quite erm.. the best word is "need improvement ". It would be good to go there at 11.30am just to avoid lunch crowd. By 12pm, it would be a challenge to get a place in a group. Will I go and try again? Yes, I will. So far the honey dew chicken ain't disappointing 😋 for my first visit.

Used to frequent here very often during hey days of far east plaza. I miss the Thai beehoon which is more dried and flavorful in the past. Now it’s comes with a little soup while the flavor only hint of what used to be. It’s very bland now n I didn’t enjoy it at alll Fried wonton is ok though abit greasy. The honeydew chicken noodle doesn’t taste like honeydew but like some roast meat sauce. Find it so so.

Ordered 2 mains to try and skipped the sides since it was rather pricey for the wantons. The frozen chicken cubes weren’t to my wife’s liking, and it was found in both the dishes that we ordered.. On my end, I did enjoy the crispy noodle HK style - but given that it’s a frozen chicken cube, I might opt for the seafood variant in future. Decent price for the area, can probablg consider returning in future if I’m lacking other choices.

Wanton mee with honeydew sauce was so surprisingly nice. Expected it to be sweet but didn't know it was spicy too. The spice made it super addictive. Parents please try it before you order for your kids to check the spice level!

This is easily the best salted egg chicken rice I’ve ever had in SG. The sweet taste isn’t dominant. I love how they added a lot of salted egg sauce. But, the chicken was slightly dry. I think they just reheated the meal (?). I’m not sure. But the service was okay. It was just you shouldn’t eat too slow coz a lot of people are waiting to be seated haha. I used to eat very fast, but they had to take my plate immediately right after I finished eating. That’s a great customer service i guess, so the customer wouldn’t wait for too long. I don’t really mind.

Puncak Best Noodle Halal Restaurant is one of my go-to spots when I want something cheap and easy, whether I’m with friends or just eating alone. Their noodles are super good—always hit the spot. And the fried wantons? So crispy and addictive, especially with the chili sauce. This place has been around forever, and there’s a reason people keep coming back.

Lunch time in Singapore! I was looking for a halal food spot and found this interesting halal restaurant—so I headed straight to Far East Plaza. Made it to Level 5, and thankfully the queue wasn’t long yet. I quickly ordered their signature dishes: Beef Kway Teow and Salted Egg Chicken Rice. Can’t wait to dig in! The food was delicious—perfectly balanced flavors, not too salty, and really enjoyable. The portions were generous, so we took our time to finish everything. The place started to get quite busy, which is always a good sign! Highly recommended if you’re looking for tasty halal Chinese food in Singapore. The official halal certification is clearly displayed on the wall, so you can dine with peace of mind.
