Authentic, affordable and self serve sambal made this a great meal! I ate here passing through on holiday and was impressed with the quality. We can't get enough of spice so being able to choose our own sambal was perfect

Great place to enjoy your nasi goreng. Every grain of rice is fluffy and charred to perfection. Always ask for spicy version as it can't go wrong ya. Always enjoy paring their sambal ijo and kurupuk with their fried rice. Telur ceplok is nicely fried and runny too. The only complain is their gorengan is served cold from their storage plate at the cashier. Was expecting them to at least fry before serving. It was cold and soggy, disappointed. Other than that, restaurant seemed to be hot too, don't quite feel the AC. Definitely will return for their fried rice and maybe some other stuffs soon.

We are happy to have hosted our friends here for lunch. We ordered oxtail soup, prawns fried with petai beans, Assam vegetables, ikan bakar, ikan goreng and ayam bakar. The dishes were very tasty and we didn't have to wait very long for the food to be served. The staff who attended to us was very helpful and polite. Thank you. We will come here more often to enjoy their food!

Great place to eat with family and friends. Place is spacious, suitable for gathering. All foods are delicious and flavourful, especially mie celor and nasi goreng sambal hijau. They also have 6 differents sambal. Really mouthwatering. Let me tell you also about the service. Their service is the best, they truly serve by heart.

I found MAKAN PORRIDGE's meal is very unique, as I have never tried satay combined with porridge as a meal before!!! I have tried their Satay Chicken Porridge, it is very delicious. But in order to unleash the full flavour of it, you can mix the porridge with their sides. Personally, I have mixed the Tumeric Satay Chicken Porridge with Popcorn Chicken, Fried Wanton and Crispy Chicken.

There's something about a warm bowl of porridge from Makan Porridge that is so comforting, Love the juicy bits of satay chicken that come with the Satay Chicken Tumeric Porridge. The porridge was tasty and not overly salty.

My convenience and comforting meal when I am at work. Being on Grab and Foodpanda platform offering self pick up makes it very convenient for me. Easy and fast. Great options on the side dishes too especially the crispy fried chicken cutlet. Simple yet nice. Healthy choices available too. So no guilt even though it's fried. The meatball congee is amazing!
