great place to escape the weekend crowds in the main malls along orchard road if you're just looking to eat dinner. wanted to eat greenview cafe mhk but it was closed so i chanced upon this place, only a few people around and no queue on sun night. had fish soup beehoon, delicious and wholesome. very good price too. friendly staff running the shop. would love to come back and try the other dishes.

This is my favourite place to go for Yong Tau Foo. The boss and staff are very friendly and their ingredients are freshly prepared everyday and they also have other set items on their menu. Great place for a quick bite!!

This shop was my wife’s family favourite. So we return to try since we were nearby. I must say the cooking of the chicken is still good. Unfortunately the chickens which are likely frozen not fresh are rather tasteless. Sad. Anyway the cooking made them better. Prices are definitely much higher just like other food. Soup is definitely delicious. Overall lunch was a good revisit.

I had the pleasure of dining at Hainanese Delicacy, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt right at home. The highlight was, of course, the food! I indulged in their signature Hainanese chicken rice, and it was cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender and flavorful, served with fragrant rice that was just the right amount of savory. The accompanying chili sauce added a delightful kick without overpowering the dish. We also tried the Hainanese curry, which was rich and aromatic, with just the right balance of spices. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic flavors. To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious dessert that was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. If you're looking for a true taste of Hainanese cuisine, I highly recommend Hainanese Delicacy. This gem is a must-visit for food lovers! Can't wait to return!

Our go-to spot for chicken rice! Expect a walk-in queue of about 15–20 minutes, but it moves quickly. We love their steamed chicken — tender, moist, and perfectly paired with fragrant rice, punchy chilli, and minced ginger. For two pax, we usually order a quarter chicken, and they’ll kindly debone it for us. They’re also generous with their soup — just ask for a big bowl! Food is served fast, prices are reasonable, and quality is consistently great. A true gem at Far East Plaza!

Visiting this shop on and off for the past 30 years. Tender, juicy roasted and tender white chicken. Always come early before 1130am to beat the queue and busy crowd. The old school hawkers's attitude but they meant no harm. In the end they can be friendly too. The roasted drumstick is my favorite. Rice is just right. Paired with well made chilli and dark soya. Portion maybe be smaller now so I have to order double portion. Still it's one of the better hainanese chicken rice in Singapore.

Prob one of the best Hainan chicken rice in my opinion. I’d recommend this over other overrated and touristy places in the central regions. Chicken is really silky and tender complemented by really fragrant rice. Hainan chicken rice at its best. 5/5 rating.
