Rushing during lunch time so visited this empty shop. Was worried it might be a trap but to my surprise, the food was actually decent.

I recently visited this new stall at Food Republic for lunch during the workday, which replaced the previous Korean Stall. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu and the surprisingly affordable prices, with most dishes under $10. Currently, they're offering an opening set meal for an average of $11 to $13, which I believe is excellent value considering it includes a meat, pasta, and a choice of cheese fries, mashed potatoes, or salad. It overall is a high carb meal! 😂👍 OPENING LUNCH SET I opted for the cream pasta with fried fish, and the portion size was enormous, even for someone with a healthy appetite. I truly think this is a very satisfying set meal for the opening special. I'm definitely eager to return and try other menu items. My friend ordered the aglio olio with chicken chop and black pepper sauce, substituting the salad for a side of mashed potatoes. The chicken was incredibly well-marinated, with a good balance of pepper and retained some delicious fattiness. The aglio olio was generously portioned and packed with garlic chunks – it was exceptionally well-prepared. I'm looking forward to enjoying the aglio olio again in the future. ☺️ If you're seeking a food court meal that serves decent Western food with generous portions, I highly recommend to try here. The spaghtti dishes here are particularly good such as the aglio olio and exploring other options on the menu too!

I passed while walking towards shaw foodcourt it was good and value for money $7 full complete meal. I will surely to recommend this to my workmates. Good taste and so many selections to choose from. Head down to the food republic at Shaw and see for yourself 🙂
