Easily one of the worst buffet I have tried. Chef asked service to help refill the crab utensils but it was never refilled. Food wise none was memorable or good. Not sure how is that chili crab, it taste like some spicy sauce but definitely not chili crab. The BBQ prawns was also bland. For an international buffet at the pricing of 78 per pax,the selection is one of the least I have seen.

3rd or 4th time there for weekday dinner. Demolished snow crab legs as usual. Big head prawns not fresh this time round but the oysters and scallops were good. No nonya kueh though it is listed on menu. Will visit again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Makan @ Jen Buffet, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The variety of dishes available was truly impressive, featuring a delightful mix of both local and international cuisines. I particularly enjoyed the seafood section, where the prawns and oysters were simply divine. The live cooking stations added an exciting element, allowing us to customize our meals just the way we liked them. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both family gatherings and romantic dinners. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit. Overall, Makan @ Jen Buffet exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic buffet experience!

Great deal with b1f1 in total cost 39 perpax after discount exclude tax. The baked scallop and big head prawn is fresh and delicious, other food such as spagetti, sashimi, beef also not bad also. Ovdtall its a good experience

I used to really enjoy Cedele’s food/sandwiches but on my most recent visit I was so disappointed with what I ordered - beetroot avocado sandwich. There was only one bread option available so what I’d pictured or imagined (based on what I had a few months ago when the sandwich was served with a brioche bap), the avocado was almost nonexistent, the patty was thin and there was no more alfalfa sprouts but instead replaced with sad-looking lettuce. The only saving grace was perhaps the coffee which was still palatable.

I would like to compliment the male staff at the cash register around 8.40pm on 19 July. Store was half closed and I am really craving for tiramisu. He promptly and cheerfully helped me with my takeaway order which really made my day. Thank you!

Tried the chocolate banana espresso cake & lemongrass tea. Chocolate Banana Espresso Cake not only SHRANK in size, but increased in price to $9.3 from $8.5/8.9 (can’t remember). Cake’s good though. But still disappointed in the small slice I was given. Lemongrass tea was OK, but initially the cup I was given had UNWASHED coffee stains on it. Asked to change to a new cleaner cup & staff complied.

Staff was not at the counter so i went to the back to check if there was anyone manning the shop. 2 ladies were working - 1 busy and the other was having a break (looked like). Gestured multiple times to the one having a break (she was nearer), only for her to make eye contact with me and ignore me continuously. Understand she was on break but it wouldnt have hurt to respond with “my colleague is busy, we’ll get to you soon” instead of pretending not to see me. Her colleague, on the other hand, was busy managing everything alone and had to apologise on her behalf.

Currently got tea time promotion where you ordered a slice of cake and get a free coffee/tea. Very good offer. Offer from 2pm to 5pm.

Very Disappointing Experience – Rude Staff and Bad Food I had a very unpleasant experience at this café. First of all, the staff were incredibly rude. We walked in holding a clearly visible ice cream cone, and nobody said a word about outside food not being allowed. Only after we placed and paid for our order did they suddenly inform us that outside food was not permitted. At that point, we were put in a very awkward position – either throw away the ice cream we had just bought, or leave without enjoying the coffee we had already paid for. This felt very intentional and unkind. Secondly, the food and coffee were honestly below average – the coffee was bitter and burnt, and the food lacked flavor and freshness. Combined with the poor service and unwelcoming atmosphere, it’s safe to say I won’t be coming back. Not recommended.
