Absolute worst pair of glasses I’ve ever gotten. The lenses popped off after two months and consistently pop off after, leading to me constantly needing to search blindly for where they’ve fallen and needing to snap them in place, which isn’t easy. Went back to the store and they refused to do anything.
To be clear, I got these glasses some years ago and got a replacement almost immediately instead of fighting because I was young and stupid, but I’ve recently had to use them again as a back-up after losing my default pair and it just pisses me off so much because of how many times I’ve had to fumble with the lenses in the short time I’ve been re-wearing them. Truly unacceptable issue and unacceptable response from the store given how expensive these were.
Edit: LOL the response below is a total lie, 0 reply. Was hoping they could at least make my pair more functional

Came across Visual Mass at a local entrepreneur market a few years back, had a chat with the founder and I guess I got hooked on with everything he sold to me. Really pretty cosy shop with minimalist interiors and a good range of designs. But I've come to realise that these frames are quite common especially the market is quite trendy with these "made in Korea" or "designed in Korea" frames. I guess then, which was maybe 4 years+ back, I was sold and also needed a new pair of specs, they had an offer for 2 spectacles at 100+ if I'm not wrong, got 1 pair for myself and another for my mum. But then the price became higher after add-ons, totalling to 300+. Sure it would have been worth it if quality was there, but it wasn't. My mum's specs were find just that they tuned her degree higher and caused her numerous headaches just because in their "professional opinion" , her progressive lens should be clearer, which made her very uncomfortable and had to send it back once more to correct to her own degree which they should have done it in the first place.
My spectacles was the one which had so much problem. I got the Julian design with PC and transition lenses. After waiting for quite awhile, they came, only to discover within a few days of wearing, there was no transition at all. Went back, one of them, a lady, started insisting that they've tested over and over again and started tsking when I insisted there is no transition effect. Another guy who I presumed was in a higher position apologised and told me it will get fixed. Waited a week plus again, it came back and yes, transition was in but wasn't working properly. Parts of the lenses weren't reacting to the sunlight and when I wore it on in public, it was visible to see transparent patches when the rest of the transition was black. Very ugly, very uncomfortable because my eyes were just everywhere trying to focus. Went back again, same lady was there, clearly resistant in helping me and had a black face. The worst spectacle purchasing experience actually. I've only visited well known ones that are either have been a long time in the neighbourhood or those that have branches around Singapore. I took a gamble on a start-up business for spectacles and regretted after.
Why am I only writing this review after all these years? I realised, spectacle shopping is very important and you don't want to waste money on something you are going to wear for the long run. I've recently visited other shops like Owndays, Koff and Lenskart, great customer service, very patient, transparent in their pricing and how things work. Recently purchased 2 spectacles from Lenskart, similar designs, if not, even a wider range of up to 100+ designs. Korean products or designs are always a bigger hit in the market, especially to influencers who know that doing sponsored posts on it will be attractive to their target audience. I realised I don't need them to just be Korean products to believe they are good, other countries are just as good, similar and more designs and even have better membership benefits. All I remember now from Visual Mass was how resistant the staff was when obviously it was their fault that my spectacles were not made properly and how it's just up marketed to fit their target groups.
Post purchase was just a fancy silver velvet box casing, a mini screw driver and a warranty card. Post purchase from the current - Lenskart, 2 spectacles with transition lenses at 330, membership - pay only for the lenses for any frames you'd like, regular sms updates, proper eyesight advice and not the "if they think is good for you, they'll go ahead with fixing something out of your comfort zone".
But thanks for 4 years+, it has served me well.

Glasses that lasts, great lightweight designs.
Got my pair of glasses (Brody) in 2017, was comfy and just the right fit. Frame gave way when my kid sat on it this year but I was still able to reuse the lens as the frame was still available! Tapping on the 1-1 promo, I made another pair (pepper), super lightweight and flattering, tho the optometrist made a mistake with the astig power, they were quick to rectify it.

Stumbled upon this gem in my search for a lens cleaning cloth as my glasses had become smeared from trying on multiple clothes and i had forgotten to bring one out with me. They happened to be running an attractive 1-for-1 promo on frames and lenses at the moment. The founder, Jerial and his sister, Jacintha, provided superb service and helped me find the perfect pair of titanium frames that are so lightweight, I can barely feel the glasses on my nose. Jerial also shared that his shop had been around for 7 years (a sister outlet, K+, just opened last year at centrepoint) and he had started this place with a vision to provide affordable and trendy eyewear.
My glasses were ready for collection after 2 days (such fast turnaround! 😍), and I brought my dad back to avail of the 2nd pair in the 1-for-1 promo. He required progressive lenses and hence made a small top up for the lenses (mine were for myopia only). He was very pleased with it as well. 👍🏻

I came by today and was helped by Jen to help me fix my specs since there were some issues with it. She was very helpful especially since Im very particular about the way my specs are worn. I’ve bought from them twice before, and visited multiple times, but this is the first time I’ve written a review for them, I believe

My second purchase at visual mass. Great customer service as always. Always loved their collections as it’s very unique and sleek and can’t get from other mainstream specs shops. Affordable too with their one for one promo. Highly recommended

This small optical shop tucked away in the basement of Orchard Gateway was a rare find. Although they had a small range of spectacles from Korea, prices were affordable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We managed to purchase two prescription glasses for SGD55 during a clearance sale.
