“Tsuta used to be one of my favorite ramen spots, but the quality has definitely dropped. The broth isn’t as rich or layered as before, and the truffle aroma feels muted. For the price, it just doesn’t impress anymore — no wonder it lost its Michelin star.”

Had an unpleasant food experience here. The food when served, had an unpleasant strong odour, like an offensive chicken smell. But I still gave it a try... Was really disappointed to find that the ramen egg i ordered was runny and not like the usual ones and was told this is supposed to be like this. Same goes for two pieces of chicken found in the soup, which staff said its supposed to be like this. Not sure if this would be termed Michelin grade? I had the same noodles at the jewel outlet but was not like this. Also after my feedback to the first staff, no updates were given to me. Until I left to pay my bill, which I wasn't happy to pay for an unacceptable meal, I gave my 2nd feedback but still the service wasn't satisfactory. Really disappointed with food and service.

Food is so so, additional protein added for customer, free egg shell.
Replaced with another bowl with broken edges, come serving with no spoon and chopstick, this shouldn't be happening even for a regular restaurant.
No apologize, no customer service.

I’ve walked past this restaurant in Somerset a few times but never had the chance to try it until recently when my friend and I decided to walk in. The menu features options like salmon don and ramen, and both dishes were really, really good.
The only downside was that the portions felt a little small for the price. However, the quality of the food made up for it, and overall, it was an enjoyable meal.

I ordered the tonkatsu soba and as it’s promoted in big signage it’s the first Michelin star ramen I was expecting an enjoyable meal, sadly it didn’t happen. I’ve been to many other Japanese brand ramen here, Japan and overseas and for this price I would at least expect the food quality to be acceptable. As I know this is just a franchise as long as the meal was nice I would be happy with the money spend however this was a waste of time and money not well spend, I did finish my ramen coz I paid for it but the ingredients were questionable. Anyway they have a choice of local and Japanese for the broth in relation to saltiness, as other stores don’t have this I assume the Japanese version will be super salty and chose the local version. The moment I took a sip it was like having half broth topped up with water, I thought less salty still meant flavour but it wasn’t, when I asked the staff possible to add more of the broth and waited and I was just given a dish of soy sauce. It made the watery broth more palatable. The noodles were ok but the sliced pork were so dry and the egg was weird. The egg center was nice and gooey but the white on the outer layer was really hard and had this weird taste like over processed tofu. I thought I’ll try the tonkatsu and return to try the shoyu but don’t think ill waste my time or money, there are better options for this price.
