T2 Tea at 313@Somerset brings the Australian tea phenomenon to Orchard Road, offering an immersive experience centered around premium tea blends and beautifully designed teaware. Located at Shop 01-20 on Level 1, this outpost of the Australian tea behemoth showcases over 200 tea blends developed across T2s 20-year brewing heritage.
What sets T2 apart from conventional tea retailers is their approach to tea as a sensory experience. The store invites customers to indulge in the pleasures of perfectly brewed and beautifully presented teas and tisanes, with an emphasis on exploration and discovery. The carefully curated space features vibrant displays of tea canisters, brewing equipment, and accessories that transform tea preparation from a routine into a ritual.
To celebrate their arrival in Singapore, T2 created the Singapore Breakfast blend exclusively for this market. This unique blend melds puerh, GMC, coconut, and pandan, forming a rich, coconut-infused homage to the beloved local breakfast staple of kaya toast. This localized approach demonstrates T2s commitment to connecting with Singaporean tea drinkers through familiar flavor profiles.
Beyond the extensive tea selection, the store offers a wide range of teaware including teapots, infusers, cups, and accessories. The knowledgeable staff can guide customers through the colossal range of blends, helping them discover new favorites based on taste preferences and brewing methods.
Open Monday through Sunday from 11:00am to 9:00pm, T2 Tea at 313@Somerset provides both casual tea enthusiasts and serious connoisseurs a destination for quality tea products in the heart of Orchard Road.

Great products at a reasonable price. However, I feel that the staff could be more friendly and helpful.
Some of the teapots that we were interested in had manufacturing inconsistencies. We wanted to open the packaging to check the teapots, and the staff initially allowed it but made a bad joke on how we had to repack the packaging ourselves if we wanted to check more than 3 boxes.
While I purchased a $120 tea set, the carrier that I was given was also too small. The packaging crinkled and crumbled throughout the evening, while I carried the purchased gift around Somerset. This made the gift look a tad less presentable.
I understand that the place may be understaffed, but I feel the sarcasm and tone isn't needed. More thought could be placed into providing the right packaging for the goods sold.

I find it hard to understand why it seems difficult for your staff to know their products and share information with customers when asked. When I asked about Singapore-related products, the staff member told me there were none. However, I later saw the same staff member introducing those exact products to another customer. This behavior reflects clear bias and inconsistency in how customers are treated. All customers deserve the same level of respect and attention after all. 🤷🏻♀️

Initially I want to place online order however the website crashed and I couldn’t proceed with the payment. Visited their shop at somerset a day earlier and tried to ask about the items from the website and the staff said you can order from the website but you can’t get our services.. i was taken aback. Today, i visited them again because I knew what I want and I went straight to the cashier, and I ask for the item which is high tea for me giftbox (which comes with 2 tins of tea). The cashier let me check the items and immediately said no expiry date for the tea, then she asked her colleague to help pack up because she need to tend to another customer.. to my surprise at home when I check the tea, the plastic wrapper was severely damaged by bugs and there was holes everywhere and dead bugs inside.. super yuck. Seriously, $75 for this..? T2 what kind of brand are you? And what kind of servicing, i felt totally cheated. Really wasting my time and money to visit your shop, lucky I check before I give this to someone. Zzzz

The closing time of the branch at Somerset is reflected as 10 pm on the official website of the company, but upon reaching the shop at 9.45 pm on Saturday 8 Jan, the shop was already closed.
I wanted to purchase tea for my family and friends overseas and my flight is on the following day morning. Hence, I had to endure the frustration that came as the result of the misinformation posted on the website.
As an international company, I think they should be held to higher standards in providing accurate information to customers, in order to create trust for both their new and old customers.

Visited somerset store on 31/12/2024.
I had quite an unpleasant experience there. It was my first time buying it over the counter instead of online store. I m quite regret of going to the retail store, i should continue to buy from online store. I believe the staff represents the branding. The morning, i went into the store and wanted to get Chamomile tea, so i went to the counter to ask the staff if chamomile tea is available and she told me thy do not sell chamomile tea. I m like shock in my heart as i have been getting them online.. and i would say her attitude and tone is not as friendly and good, no smile on her face too. Not very welcoming. So i asked her for any alternative, while she showing me, i saw chamomile tea just near to the tea she showed to me. Ok... i just take whatever i wanted, made payment and left the store. Hope this can be improved.

I visited the 313 outlet and was served by Rui San, who was incredibly helpful, cheerful, and friendly. She recommended that I sign up for membership to enjoy a discount and even offered gift wrapping. She went the extra mile by doing additional wrapping that she didn’t have to do, and in such a fast-paced environment, it’s rare to see staff go above and beyond like that. Kudos to Rui San — she truly made my day with her excellent service.

Had the best customer experience at T2 Tea Somerset Singapore today - Wan was responsive, helpful, efficient and amazing. Will definitely buy more T2 Tea products going forward - highly recommend buying T2 Tea products as their after-sales service is very commendable. Thank you for the great shopping experience.

Needed to get some gifts for clients, and was initially thinking about TWG tea. Chanced upon the T2 shop here at 313 coincidentally, and it was definitely a lovely experience.
As someone still thinking and researching, yet not having much luxury of time, this worked perfectly. The options of different packaging, flavors, and gift varieties, is just very helpful. Prices are fair. They also have gift wrapping options, which definitely helped seal the deal for me. One thing to note, and yes, they do charge for their paper bags.
The staff at the store were not hard selling, giving me my space to think and look around, yet offering recommendations and helped when I reached out. Very lovely folks at the store for sure. Thanks team, for the enjoyable experience!

Been consuming T2 tea for many years now. My favourite is the Singapore breakfast tea and lemongrass ginger. The only complaint I have is the loose leaf cube packaging doesn’t rly work out for long term storage and you need to get a tin. Once the plastic packaging is broken for the box cube it can’t be sealed back and is not air tight at all. Other than that the in store service has always been good. Staff are always warm and welcoming.

A wide variety of authentic, flavour filled teas that I have never ever seen anywhere else. The packaging is quite premium. Their Matcha tea was great (after tasting it at home). Their recommended teas were quite nice too. They have a huge collection of tea cups and strainers and a lot of other stuff. Worth checking out, you might end up buying some premium teas.
