Personally, I didn’t have good experience with this Health Screening Centre both before & after my health screening with them. The main problem is their lack of respect & sensitivity with regard to patient’s time and poor cs responses. I regret engaging them thinking they would be the best since their rates is in the highest in town. I spent more than S$1K for Global Health Screening + Anaemic Test + Treatment Capsules. My first encounter with them was when I walked in to their empty clinic. They had about 2-3 front desk staff. I had a bad strep throat and was unable to speak. I wrote on my phone with perfect English of my condition and that I wish to do a consultation. The front staff asked me verbally if I spoke English…. (Seriously?) Next they made me sat there for more than 15 mins without updates. After asking, they immediately told me they don’t have a ‘Medical Doctor’ since they are a health screening center and can only offer tele-consult without medicine. Yet you made me sit there & wait? 🤨 A week later, I googled for global health check package and end up selecting this medical Center unknowingly. But I gave my benefit of doubt. The Filipino nurse who did my blood test was excellent and lovely. I do appreciate Mr. Behram’s courteous and patience consult. There was some level of soft ‘up selling’ of medical services. However after the blood test: 1. They added S$100 ‘Doctor’s Consultation’ to my Global Health Screening package which was not mentioned on their website. (Luckily I can afford but for others, they might not like this lack of transparency). 2. After further research on their website after I paid for my Global Health Check: I realised they advertised for subsides of Health Screening. But when I check with them, they said they ‘ARE NOT A GP’ hence it doesn’t apply to their medical center (Refer to what they wrote on website). Another red flag for misleading ad… (Esp for those who have read that article.) 3. Poor Time & Appointment Management I was told my consultation for the results will be via video call. I confirmed with the front desk for an email invite but it wasn’t sent. Instead, they gave me the date & time on WhatsApp. When I clarified, there was no response (They must be super busy like a GP clinic!). End up it was just a normal phone call. When the day comes, my appointment was at 4pm. What I cannot accept is Dr. Behram calling me at 3.30pm without asking, Twice! I was working. I declined the first call, only to be called few seconds again. Disrupting my work meetings on a weekday. The CS asked if I was free AFTER he dialled me twice ahead of my appointment time. 4. The clinic doesn’t pick up their phone even if it’s 30-45 mins before they close despite a literally empty medical center that never has more than 3 patient at the busiest time. I just wanted to urgently asked if I could deposit the stool sample after 1.30pm due to work. I end up keeping the stool with me for a few more extra days. I found out you can deposit them before their clinic closes not just before the laboratory collection time. 5. Lack of respond by front desk About half the time I don’t get response via WhatsApp about my treatment & appointment related questions. Or they didn’t read it right and answer wrongly. When you rephrase it, they go silent. Taking my blood infusion treatment elsewhere now. I completely cannot comprehend how busy the front desk staff are in this clinic when there is usually 0-3 patients around. It’s obvious that their business revolves around milking a few thousand dollar worth of quick & easy Health Screening test & multi-hundred dollars worth of simple capsule/treatment. Certainly won’t step into any Nuffield Medical Center again.
