I was there yesterday afternoon to replace the heels of my brand new leather shoes. Actually, I was supposed to go to Mr Minit which was also located at Paragon on recommendation. However, I could not find the shop and decided to try MasterFix out of convenience since it was a simple job. When I went to collect the shoes, it was to my horror that my heel was damaged by them during repair. Apparently, the corner of the right heel had been 'sliced' off by pen knife while the worker was attempting to trim the rubber heel. When I pointed it out to the Chinese fellow, he merely took a black marker and applied over the spot on the right heel. Not a word of apology from him to remedy the situation and make customer feel less sorry for patronising their service. I was charged a hefty price tag of $15 and yet the workmanship is so poor. Besides, the heels have rough edges, it seems that they did not sandpaper before fixing and smoothening the edges with the machine after the rubber heels were glued as what the other shoes repair shops would normally do. To open shops in Orchard prime location, we would expect a higher level of service and quality for the price that you charge your customers. BTW, I was not issued with receipt for cash payment.
