Came here today 7 Dec 2025 at around 4.30pm and wanted to try 2 jeans. Went to the changing room and was served by a short Malay female staff. While I was changing, suddenly this Malay girl opened the curtains and looked at me. I was shocked beyond words. She apologised, saying she thought the customer had left. Firstly, the curtain was drawn and closed all the way - which usually indicates that someone is inside. Secondly, if she wanted to check, she should have asked first if anyone was inside, instead of just opening the curtain without warning. The lack of basic respect, common sense and manners is appalling for such an international brand. This is not some streetside stall we are talking about here. I expect better from Mango. I asked the Malay girl for her name (Qaireen) and where her manager was. She told me both confidently and without hesitation. I went to her manager and told him (Malay guy) what just happened. He apologised and said he would find out what happened from his staff. I told him the girl's name twice and yet he asked if it was the Chinese female staff. I was taken aback as I told him the girl's name a 3rd time and that it was the Malay female staff at the changing room. Why did the manager immediately assume the offensive staff was the Chinese girl and not the Malay girl Qaireen? Was it because he was also Malay and practicing racial discrimination? Instead of admonishing his staff, he actually said he would ask her what happened, as if I was lying and perhaps the villian instead of his Malay staff. Concerned that he might confront the innocent Chinese staff instead of the Malay, I walked with him to the changing room to make sure he got the right person. At this point I wanted to leave but this manager acted as if I was the villian about to harm his precious Malay staff Qaireen, basically waving me away and implying I leave. LOL - customer service is a joke here. No wonder the Malay girl was so nonchalant about what she did and could confidently tell me her name and where her manager was. I doubt he did anything to address her wrongdoing. AVOID THIS BRANCH. The manager does not take breach of privacy seriously and covers up his staff's mistakes while treating customers like villains. Also hints strongly of racial discrimination towards staff.
