The lunch set is good value.
The cuts of meat used could probably be better. Somehow it didn’t taste high quality.
Nonetheless it’s a nice location for a catch up and the service folks were great. Offered me a room when they saw I was with my Brompton.

The beef is super fresh and very tender and they impressed us even more with the service of their staff - Ms Cass and Ms. Peiwen . They have many promotions almost every time we came. We also love the Shabu and beef udon

Had an amazing Japanese Wagyu BBQ lunch set! The 4 cuts of beef were incredibly tender and flavorful. The chawanmushi was silky smooth, and the ice cream was a perfect sweet finish. Great service and ambiance made the experience even better.

In search of a fitting venue for a farewell party, we scoured various options to fulfill our guest of honor’s request for a place that serves delicious meat.
This led us to discover a gem located on the fifth floor of the Paragon building, part of the Sushi Tei group. Unaware that Sushi Tei also operated a yakiniku restaurant, we were eager to see what it had to offer.
The entrance exudes elegance with a warm wooden ambiance, and perhaps due to our large group, we were seated in a private room. The staff were incredibly attentive and courteous, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience, without the usual drawbacks of private room service like neglect or delays.
The highlight, of course, was the meat. Every cut we ordered was exquisite—tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The pork jowl and beef tongue, in particular, were impressively soft without any unwanted toughness.
Adding to the delight, the prices were surprisingly reasonable for such high-quality fare.
This place is truly a home run.
If there’s one suggestion, it would be the inclusion of lemon sour—a staple that pairs perfectly with yakiniku. It was a slight letdown not to find it on the menu, as it’s almost a requisite for a yakiniku restaurant.
Overall, an excellent dining experience.

Came here for a birthday celebration and we were not really expecting much but...the food and service here deserves a shout-out.
Kuroki is a relatively new brand with the Sushi Tei peeps with yakiniku style meats as the signature highlights. Let's just say you have to try it! We got the Kuroki Set (pork belly selection) and the Classic Set (wagyu beef selection) plus some ala carte items - Sukiyaki hot pot, wagyu mince curry rice, wagyu beef fried rice and a serving of the prime karubi which was excellent!
The pork belly - when done nicely with a bit of charred and bite is crispy yet succulent while the various cuts of beer had nice marbling, was tender and were generous in cut size. My daughter absolutely enjoyed it!
The service - a special mention to Cass and her team. A long time staff with the group, it is just heartwarming to experience her genuine warmth and hospitality which is rare these day. I speak from experience having been a part of the F&B industry many years back so...Sushi Tei HQ - you are so blessed to have such a team member and kudos to u as I also understand quite a number of your staff have been with you for a while.
Prices are reasonable I thought...juat don't compare it with Sushi Tei as they are different. By the way, Sushi Tei Raffles City is another favourite of the 👪 😍.
