KOOKS Creamery operates a specialized takeaway nook at 313 Somerset basement level, where artisan ice cream and molten lava cookies headline a menu focused on hand-crafted indulgence. Located at B3-43A of 313 Orchard Road, this location represents the brand expansion from neighborhood roots in Bedok and Serangoon to the high-traffic Orchard Road shopping district, bringing their signature creations to a wider audience of dessert enthusiasts and curious shoppers.
The star attraction remains the lava cookies, which feature molten chocolate or matcha ganache centers that flow when the cookies are broken open. These cookies are baked fresh in small batches, with each one achieving the delicate balance between a crispy exterior and that signature molten core that defines proper lava cookie execution. The theatrical element of breaking open a cookie to reveal flowing ganache has made these Instagram-worthy treats particularly popular among younger customers.
Artisan ice cream provides the perfect complement to the warm cookies, with flavors developed through the brand in-house research and development process. Each batch is hand-crafted in small quantities to ensure freshness and quality control, following the artisanal approach that has built KOOKS reputation beyond typical commercial ice cream offerings. The 313 Somerset location exclusively offers the Cookie Cone, a unique format that combines their signature products in a way not available at other KOOKS outlets.
The takeaway nook format suits the location perfectly, allowing shoppers to grab treats while exploring 313 Somerset extensive retail and dining options. The basement level position provides convenient access without requiring customers to navigate to upper floors, making KOOKS an easy impulse stop during shopping breaks.
For dessert lovers seeking quality ingredients, creative combinations, and that satisfying contrast between warm lava cookies and cold artisan ice cream, KOOKS Creamery delivers hand-crafted indulgence in the heart of Orchard Road.

Ordered a match strawberry latte which costs $8.50, and it taste awful. Worst part is this outlet only have 1 staff attending. A family in front of me ordered 7 single scoops ice cream and I have to wait 20 minutes just for 1 drink. Terrible service and terrible drink. It's my first and final time patronizing

Tried this place for their ice cream and mochi waffles, but overall experience was quite disappointing. The cashier didn’t respond when we asked questions, and we weren’t told the price until the receipt came out — $16.30 for a mochi waffle with one scoop of ice cream. Honestly, that’s pretty steep, especially there’s no service or seating area provided. The waffle and ice cream were decent, but for that price, we rather go somewhere with better service and a more comfortable setup.

I had a very poor experience today. Despite standing in line, the lone cashier ignored everyone waiting and didn't acknowledge us. When I asked if I could place an order, I was dismissed and told to wait. While standing there, I watched a couple leave out of frustration because the wait was so long. There is a total lack of urgency and basic customer service here.

matcha is grainey, grassy and filled with really big ice cubes. dull coloured as well, what ceremonial grade? really is waste of my $8.50, tasted way better matchas that r priced cheaper

matcha strawberry is very disappointing. very powdery and the colour of matcha is greyish.

yesterday first time visited kooks creamery, it was closing soon, still had orders coming in this lady was politely and friendly answered all my questions. I ordered thai milk tea lava cookie, gelato was my liking and the molten chocolate flows out with every bite! will come back and visit here again 😊 …

Highly recommend the Dirty Matcha! Really taste like matcha with espresso - very good and it’s vegan!! The Mochi Wafflets were light and crispy, with enough mochi to have a chewy waffle texture
The matcha lava cookie was rly decadent - warm and gooey, very fragrant. Had it with the Blue Chai Hokkaido Milk which tasted like milk with honey.
Added on marshmallow topping but everything was sweet so it was a bit overwhelming. Suggest to add to a sour flavour instead~
Overall good place with quality bakes and icecream

I don't know why the reviews are tragically low here but honestly I love their mochi waffles! their crispy on the outside (though it used to be crispier last time) and their thai milk tea ice cream is divine..... the scoop is BIGGER than usual! the pistachio kunafe was quite good but their earl grey was a little too sweet

Chocolate lava cookie was nice! Wait time is about 10mins+. A little pricey but at least it is made to order. Had the milk cereal flavour which I think matches best with chocolate filling in the cookie.
