š§ This confectionery kiosk hails from Kobe, Hyogo prefecture, and the original store has about 120 years of history. š¦ At the back of this kiosk, they also sell Sembikiya fruit jellies.
ā³ļø I had purchased a box of SGD40+ Japanese "Sembikiya" brand premium fruit jellies for my brother-in-law, who is a senior physiotherapist from Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
š” The premium fruit jelly gift was to thank him for his kind help in checking my wounds last year in 2023 ( when I had a bad fall at Goodwood Park Hotel grounds).

Recommended by the sale lady, is a new flavour, bought the orange Tuiles Aux Amandes yesterday, after tasting, is nice, prompting to go for second pieces šš. It has almond and crispy, orange taste, not too sour. Can be recommended as gifts or leisure snacks.

The sale lady was patient and introduced all their best selling product. In the end, I picked the 24 pieces of waffle biscuit that comes in three flavours; red tea, green tea and coffee. The waffle biscuit was crafted with care, the packaging was pretty and neatly packed in a tin box. The waffle biscuit was thin, crispy, and the fillings were lightly sweet and flavorful.
