I bought this when they had a 1-for-1 promotion. Honestly, I wasn't mind-blown by it. The flavour of the spread was very subtle, which might be why it didn't stand out for me. However, I shared the rest with my sister and colleagues, and they really liked it! If you prefer thin biscuits with a delicate, less pronounced flavour, these might be perfect for you.

🟣 I came a few times to the Kobe Fugetsudo shop at B2 level, Takashimaya dept store. 🟧 This confectionery kiosk hails from Kobe, Hyogo prefecture, and the original store has about 120 years of history. 🟦 At the back of this kiosk, they also sell Sembikiya fruit jellies. ✳️ I had purchased a box of SGD40+ Japanese "Sembikiya" brand premium fruit jellies for my brother-in-law, who is a senior physiotherapist from Tan Tock Seng Hospital. 🟡 The premium fruit jelly gift was to thank him for his kind help in checking my wounds last year in 2023 ( when I had a bad fall at Goodwood Park Hotel grounds). 🟢 Service at this kiosk is average. 🟧 Product wise= I believe the fruit jellies should be tasty. 😅 I didn't eat them, because I bought the jellies as a gift box and gave it away. 🔵 I recall having purchased the famous wafers from Kobe Fugetsudo kiosk too. I had gotten tins of these wafers as Christmas presents to give to my older sisters during past years.

The staff at Kobe Fugetsudo were very helpful. I especially appreciated the patient introduction to the products, which led me to buy two Sweet Symphonies as gifts

Recommended by the sale lady, is a new flavour, bought the orange Tuiles Aux Amandes yesterday, after tasting, is nice, prompting to go for second pieces 😃😋. It has almond and crispy, orange taste, not too sour. Can be recommended as gifts or leisure snacks.

The sale lady was patient and introduced all their best selling product. In the end, I picked the 24 pieces of waffle biscuit that comes in three flavours; red tea, green tea and coffee. The waffle biscuit was crafted with care, the packaging was pretty and neatly packed in a tin box. The waffle biscuit was thin, crispy, and the fillings were lightly sweet and flavorful.
