The doctor here doesn’t listen at all — just keeps talking nonstop, then immediately asks you to leave so the nurse can come in to sell products.
We’ve visited three times in a short period, and every single visit they pushed the exact same product. We already bought two sets, yet they still tried to sell us a third one.
Honestly, it feels like they’re struggling to pay the rent — desperate to sell something to every patient who walks in.
The doctor is also incredibly rude: never looks at you, keeps facing the computer, and talks over you the entire time. Overall, a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience.

Extremely Disappointing and Rude – Avoid Dr. Chua
I had a revision rhinoplasty done by Dr. Chua due to an infection that was causing swelling on one side of my nose. Not only is Dr. Chua extremely expensive, but I have never encountered such an arrogant and rude doctor. After the surgery, my nose became thinner and longer, my tip was made larger—none of which I asked for—and my bridge also dropped.
To make matters worse, the infection became even more severe after his surgery. When I raised my concerns, his response was outrageous. He accused me of overreacting and even suggested I see a psychiatrist. He also called me belligerent when I wrote an honest review of my experience (before a year had passed since the surgery) and asked me to take it down.
Now, several years later, I’m sharing my experience again. I would never recommend Dr. Chua—his treatment was poor, he is incredibly rude, and the entire experience has been a disaster. Avoid him at all costs.

I had ptosis surgery and eye bags done on 13 Jun 2025 which is 6 months ago, and I’m very happy with the results. The doctor was extremely careful and gentle throughout the entire process, which made me feel comfortable and confident. My recovery was fast, and even though the surgery line was visible at first, it has been fading steadily and is now much less noticeable as it continues to heal. I also feel like I’m looking prettier and more refreshed now, which has really boosted my confidence. Overall, I’m really satisfied with the care I received and the outcome of the surgery. I took my daughter to Dr JJ Chua to get her ears pierced.
He patiently explained the entire process to my daughter before we started. And then he also asked us if we had any ideas or expectations regarding the piercing.
Full attention was paid to hygiene to ensure the piercing does not get infected. We brought our own pair of earrings and this was soaked in antiseptic solution before it was used. Before commencing, he also checked with us that the marked positions were exactly where we had in mind for the ear studs.
Plenty of numbing medications were used to ensure a painless procedure. My daughter has really low pain threshold, but throughout the whole process my daughter did not express any discomfort at all.
The entire process was nothing short of marvellous. I highly recommend him for a painless ear piercing. Thank you Dr Chua!

What struck me most was how Dr. Chua took the time to understand my concerns in detail before offering his advice. He explained everything clearly, which really put me at ease.
The staff were very attentive and polite, checking in on me while I waited.
